This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Direct Messages & Private Communications Policy, Watch Together, Group Viewing & Shared Sessions Policy, Team Access & Role Permissions Policy, Content Availability, Removal & Expiry Notice Policy, Paid Content Terms, Child Safety Policy, and Account Suspension & Termination Policy.

2. Purpose of This Policy
Invite links and share links may help users share content, invite others to sessions, collaborate, preview private content, access unlisted pages, or join groups and communities. These links may also create privacy, safety, payment, rights, and access-control risks.
This policy explains:
- How invite links and share links may work
- How private, unlisted, temporary, and expiring links may be used
- What risks apply when links are shared outside Playflick
- How link permissions and revocation may work
- What misuse of private links is prohibited
- How users may report unsafe, leaked, or abusive links
3. Feature Availability
Private invite links, share links, expiring links, unlisted links, preview links, collaboration links, session links, community invite links, link permission tools, link revocation, and related features may not be available to every user, country, account type, subscription plan, content type, device, browser, or app version.
Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue invite link and share link features at any time.
4. Types of Links
Playflick may support different types of links where features are available.
Links may include:
- Public share links
- Private invite links
- Unlisted content links
- Preview links
- Collaboration links
- Watch together links
- Community invite links
- Event invite links
- Temporary access links
- Password-protected or permission-based links where available
5. Public Share Links
Public share links may allow users to share public content, profiles, communities, playlists, title pages, trailers, posts, or other public pages.
Sharing a public link does not guarantee that the content will remain available, accessible, accurate, or visible to every person who opens it.
Content may become unavailable because of region restrictions, age restrictions, rights changes, removal, deletion, privacy changes, or technical issues.
6. Private Invite Links
Private invite links may allow selected people to access a private room, group, shared session, community, collaboration space, event, or content area where features are available.
Users should share private invite links only with people they trust.
Anyone who receives a valid private invite link may be able to request access or join, depending on link settings and feature design.
7. Unlisted Links
Unlisted links may allow access to content that is not easily found through public search, public profile pages, or general discovery surfaces.
Unlisted does not mean fully private.
Anyone with a valid unlisted link may be able to view or share the content, subject to account, region, age, payment, rights, and permission restrictions.
8. Preview Links
Preview links may allow creators, collaborators, reviewers, clients, sponsors, studios, rights holders, or authorised viewers to preview content before public release where features are available.
Users must not share preview links beyond the intended audience.
Preview links may be revoked, expire, be restricted, or stop working at any time.
9. Collaboration Links
Collaboration links may allow users to invite others to contribute, review, edit, manage, moderate, or access content or projects where features are available.
Users should review permission levels before sending collaboration links.
Collaboration links may give recipients access to sensitive content, drafts, metadata, comments, analytics, role settings, or project information depending on settings.
10. Expiring Links
Playflick may support links that expire after a time period, use count, event end, access window, subscription period, rental period, or creator-defined setting.
Expiring links may stop working because of:
- Expiry time reached
- Use limit reached
- Creator revocation
- Account restriction
- Content removal
- Rights expiry
- Payment or access change
- Security review
11. Link Permissions
Links may include different permission levels where features are available.
Permission levels may include:
- View only
- Comment
- Join session
- Invite others
- Edit metadata
- Moderate
- Manage members
- Access paid content where separately eligible
Users should not assume that every link has the same permission level.
12. Revoking Links
Playflick may allow hosts, creators, admins, account holders, or authorised users to revoke links where features are available.
Revoking a link may stop future access through that link, but it may not remove copies, screenshots, downloads, cached previews, external messages, or access already granted through other means.
13. Accidental Sharing
Users are responsible for checking link settings before sharing links.
Accidental sharing may happen when users:
- Post private links publicly
- Forward links to the wrong person
- Share links in group chats
- Include links in screenshots
- Use public social media posts
- Reuse links after access needs change
- Share links with people who forward them further
Users should revoke links promptly if they believe a link was shared accidentally.
14. External Platforms
Links shared outside Playflick may be processed by third-party platforms, messaging apps, social networks, search engines, browsers, email providers, analytics tools, or preview-generation systems.
External platforms may create previews, cache link information, scan links, store messages, or show metadata outside Playflick’s control.
Users should avoid sharing sensitive links on platforms they do not trust.
15. Link Previews
Link previews may show title names, descriptions, images, thumbnails, usernames, community names, event details, or other metadata.
Link previews may be generated by Playflick or third-party platforms.
Link previews may remain visible or cached outside Playflick even after a page changes, becomes private, or is removed.
16. Paid Content and Invite Links
Invite links do not automatically bypass payment, subscription, ticket, membership, rental, purchase, region, age, or rights requirements.
Users must not use invite links or share links to unlawfully provide access to paid content.
Recipients may need their own valid access before viewing paid or restricted content.
17. Age and Regional Restrictions
Links may not work for users who do not meet age, country, region, account, parental control, or legal requirements.
Users must not use links to bypass age restrictions, child profile settings, parental controls, regional blocks, sanctions restrictions, or legal requirements.
18. Confidential and Unreleased Content
Users must not share confidential, unreleased, embargoed, private, draft, client, studio, creator, or rights holder content through links without permission.
Playflick may restrict or remove links involving leaked, confidential, rights-violating, or unauthorised content.
19. Link Abuse
Users must not misuse invite links, share links, preview links, unlisted links, collaboration links, or temporary access links.
Prohibited conduct may include:
- Posting private links publicly without permission
- Using links for harassment or doxing
- Sharing links to scams or phishing pages
- Using links to bypass paid access
- Using links to bypass age or regional restrictions
- Creating invite link spam
- Using links to distribute piracy
- Using links to coordinate abuse or raids
20. Child Safety
Invite links and share links must not be used to exploit, sexualise, identify, harass, groom, manipulate, or endanger children or young users.
Users must not use private links to:
- Move children into unsafe private spaces
- Share exploitative content involving minors
- Invite children to age-inappropriate sessions
- Encourage children to bypass parental controls
- Collect children’s private information
- Target child users with unsafe contact
Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.
21. Security and Fraud Review
Playflick may restrict, expire, disable, or review links where security, fraud, spam, rights, payment, safety, or platform integrity concerns apply.
Review may be triggered by:
- High-volume link sharing
- Suspicious invite patterns
- Reports of abuse
- Phishing or scam signals
- Paid access abuse
- Child-safety concerns
- Rights complaints
- Account compromise signals
22. Reports and Support
