2. Purpose of This Policy
Playflick may provide person pages and public figure metadata to help users identify actors, creators, filmmakers, contributors, studios, performers, writers, directors, producers, public figures, and other entertainment-related people.
This policy explains:

- How disputed person metadata may be corrected or removed
- How Playflick may restrict or remove inaccurate or harmful person metadata
3. Feature Availability
Person pages, filmography tools, biography editing, public figure metadata, image uploads, alias fields, profession labels, linked credits, profile claiming, identity verification, correction requests, and related features may not be available to every user, creator, country, account type, person type, device, or platform surface.
Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue person-page and public figure metadata features at any time.
4. Person Pages
Person pages may identify people associated with entertainment, creator content, production work, public performances, journalism, commentary, community activity, or other Playflick-related content.
Person pages may include:
- Name
- Known aliases or stage names
- Profile image
- Biography
- Profession labels
- Filmography or credits
- Public links where available
- Verification or authenticity status where available
5. Filmographies
Filmographies may list films, series, episodes, trailers, events, creator works, or other content associated with a person.
Filmography entries should be accurate and should not falsely claim that a person appeared in, worked on, endorsed, produced, directed, wrote, or authorised content.
Being listed in a filmography does not automatically prove ownership, endorsement, contractual rights, or revenue entitlement.
6. Responsibility for Accuracy
Users who submit or edit person metadata are responsible for ensuring the information is accurate, lawful, non-misleading, respectful of privacy, and submitted with an appropriate basis.
Users must not knowingly submit false person metadata, fake biographies, misleading filmographies, impersonation claims, or private personal information.
Playflick may not independently verify every person metadata submission before it appears.
7. Names, Stage Names, and Aliases
Names, stage names, professional names, credited names, aliases, and alternative spellings should be used accurately and respectfully.
Users must not use name fields to:
- Impersonate someone
- Harass or insult a person
- Reveal private identities without appropriate basis
- Falsely connect a person to unrelated content
- Keyword spam famous names
- Mislead users about official status
- Evade Playflick rules
8. Biographies
Biographies should be accurate, relevant, and proportionate.
Biographies must not include:
- False or defamatory claims
- Private personal information
- Harassment, threats, or abuse
- Unverified criminal accusations
- Medical or sensitive private details without lawful basis
- Scam links, phishing links, or malware links
- Spam or promotional keyword stuffing
- Sexualised minor content
9. Public Figure Metadata
Public figure metadata may describe people who are publicly associated with entertainment, media, filmmaking, public performance, creator activity, or other public-facing work.
Public figure status does not remove all privacy rights or safety protections.
Playflick may restrict or remove metadata where publication creates legal, privacy, safety, harassment, child-safety, or platform integrity concerns.
10. Private Individuals
Some people listed in credits or metadata may not be public figures.
Users should take extra care before adding information about private individuals, including crew members, extras, minors, volunteers, audience members, community participants, or people who are not publicly known.
Playflick may restrict or remove person metadata that exposes private individuals unfairly or without appropriate basis.
11. Profile Images and Publicity Images
Profile images, headshots, stills, publicity images, posters, banners, and person-page artwork must comply with Playflick policies and applicable rights.

12. Date and Place Information
Playflick may allow date, place, nationality, region, or background metadata where features are available and appropriate.
Users must not add sensitive, private, unsafe, or inaccurate personal information.
Playflick may remove or restrict information such as exact addresses, private locations, unsafe location details, or sensitive personal details where appropriate.
13. Profession and Role Labels
Profession labels should accurately describe a person’s public or professional role.
Labels may include:
- Actor

- Producer
- Editor
- Composer

- Studio or business representative where applicable
Users must not use role labels to exaggerate, impersonate, mislead, or harass.
14. Linked Credits
Person pages may link to credits, titles, episodes, trailers, creator works, events, or other content where features are available.
Users must not link a person to content they did not work on, appear in, authorise, or contribute to.
Playflick may unlink, correct, merge, restrict, or remove linked credits where appropriate.
15. Duplicate Person Pages
Duplicate person pages may occur where multiple users submit the same person, names are spelled differently, stage names are used, imported metadata overlaps, or public information is inconsistent.
Playflick may merge, redirect, restrict, remove, or correct duplicate person pages where appropriate.
Duplicate handling may consider:
- Names and aliases
- Credits and filmography
- Public official sources
- Profile claiming or verification
- Images and biography information
- Creator or representative confirmation
- Impersonation, fraud, or privacy concerns
16. Profile Claiming and Verification
Playflick may allow people, creators, public figures, businesses, studios, representatives, or rights holders to claim or verify person pages where features are available.
Claiming or verification may require:
- Identity verification
- Creator account verification
- Representative authority
- Official website or social profile confirmation
- Business or agency verification where relevant
- Fraud and impersonation review
Verification does not guarantee that every metadata field is complete, final, or undisputed.
17. Person Metadata Disputes
Disputes may arise about person identity, biographies, aliases, profile images, filmography entries, public figure status, credited roles, or linked profiles.
Playflick may review disputes where appropriate, but Playflick may not resolve every private contract, employment, agency, authorship, credit, publicity, family, identity, or reputation dispute.
Playflick may require official documents, written authorisations, court orders, rights information, representative confirmation, or verified source materials before making certain changes.
18. Impersonation and Fake Person Pages
Users must not create fake person pages, fake actor pages, fake creator biographies, fake public figure pages, fake representative profiles, or person metadata designed to impersonate or deceive others.

- Using AI images to create a false identity
- Using another person’s image without permission to mislead users
- Creating fake agents, managers, or publicists
19. Defamation, Harassment, and Abuse
Person pages must not be used to defame, harass, threaten, shame, stalk, dox, or target people.
Users must not add:
- Abusive biographies
- Mocking profile images
- Private addresses or contact details
- Unverified harmful allegations
- Hate or discriminatory abuse
- Sexual harassment
- Targeted harassment campaigns
20. Children and Young Performers
Person pages involving children, young performers, child actors, young creators, or young users must be handled with extra care.
Users must not use person metadata to:
- Sexualise minors
- Expose children’s private information
- Publish unsafe location details
- Invite unsafe contact with children
- Target child actors or young creators for harassment
- Misrepresent guardian consent where required
Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.
21. AI-Generated or Synthetic Person Images
AI-generated or synthetic images, voices, biographies, or identity materials must not be used to mislead users about a real person, public figure, actor, creator, or contributor.
Users must not create synthetic person metadata that impersonates someone, falsely claims a credit, misrepresents a public figure, or violates rights.
22. Search Visibility and Recommendations
Person metadata may affect search, recommendations, filmography pages, title pages, creator discovery, profile pages, and public search visibility where features are available.
Users must not abuse person metadata to manipulate search, rankings, recommendations, analytics, traffic, or reputation.
23. Imported or Third-Party Person Metadata
Playflick may import, receive, display, or process person metadata from creators, studios, distributors, public databases, metadata providers, rights holders, APIs, official sources, or other third-party sources where available.
Imported person metadata may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, inconsistent, or inaccurate.
Users may report person metadata errors where correction tools are available.
24. Reports and Support
