This Creator Verification Policy explains how Playflick™ Media .ltd may review, approve, reject, remove, or limit verification badges, verified creator status, business verification, identity checks, and related trust features on Playflick.com.

Playflick is a video discovery and creator platform for independent entertainment, short films, trailers, creators, and community videos. Verification may help users identify authentic creators, brands, businesses, organisations, public figures, or official channels, but verification does not mean Playflick endorses the creator or guarantees the accuracy of their content.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Creator Code of Conduct, Impersonation Policy, Trademark Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Creator Monetisation Terms, Advertising Policy, Paid Content Terms, and Privacy Policy.

Verification may help confirm that:

  • An account belongs to the person, creator, brand, business, or organisation it claims to represent
  • An account has completed certain identity, account, or business checks
  • A creator or business has met certain eligibility requirements
  • An account is less likely to be an impersonation account

Verification does not mean that Playflick endorses, sponsors, guarantees, recommends, or accepts responsibility for the account, creator, business, content, products, services, claims, or opinions.


3. Verification Is Not Guaranteed

Verification is not automatic and is not guaranteed.

Playflick may approve, reject, delay, remove, or limit verification at our discretion, subject to applicable law and platform policies.

Playflick is not required to verify every eligible user, public figure, creator, brand, business, or organisation.


4. Types of Verification

Playflick may offer different types of verification depending on platform features and eligibility.

Verification may include:

  • Creator verification: for creators, channels, filmmakers, entertainers, artists, or public-facing accounts.
  • Business verification: for companies, brands, studios, organisations, advertisers, or commercial accounts.
  • Identity verification: for confirming that an account holder is a real person or authorised representative.
  • Monetisation verification: for creators seeking paid content, subscriptions, payouts, or creator earnings.
  • Advertiser verification: for users or businesses using advertising tools.
  • Rights-holder verification: for copyright, trademark, or brand owners submitting rights-related notices.

Available verification types may change over time.


5. Eligibility Requirements

Playflick may consider different factors when reviewing verification requests.

Eligibility may depend on:

  • Account authenticity
  • Account activity
  • Account completeness
  • Profile image, channel name, and public identity
  • Original content uploads
  • Compliance with Playflick policies
  • No serious recent safety violations
  • No serious recent copyright or trademark violations
  • No impersonation or misleading identity concerns
  • No fraud, spam, fake engagement, or payment abuse
  • Evidence that the account represents a real creator, business, brand, public figure, organisation, or official channel
  • Identity, business, payment, tax, or rights-holder checks where required

Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee verification.


6. Information We May Request

To review a verification request, Playflick may request information such as:

  • Full legal name
  • Creator name or stage name
  • Business or organisation name
  • Account email address
  • Username or channel name
  • Official website or social media links
  • Proof of identity where appropriate
  • Proof of business registration where appropriate
  • Proof of brand ownership or authorisation
  • Proof of rights to represent a creator, public figure, business, brand, or organisation
  • Payment or payout information where monetisation is involved
  • Tax or compliance information where required
  • Additional information needed to prevent fraud, impersonation, or abuse

Do not send unnecessary sensitive information unless Playflick requests it. If verification requires sensitive documents, Playflick may provide further instructions.


7. How to Request Verification

If creator or business verification is available, users may request verification through account settings, creator tools, admin tools, or by contacting Playflick.

  • Your account email address
  • Your username or channel name
  • The type of verification requested
  • A short explanation of who you are or what you represent
  • Official links that support your identity or business
  • Any evidence showing that you are the creator, rights holder, business owner, or authorised representative

8. Verification Review

After receiving a verification request, Playflick may:

  • Review the account
  • Review public profile information
  • Review uploaded content
  • Review account history and policy compliance
  • Review identity, business, or rights-holder evidence
  • Request additional information
  • Approve verification
  • Reject verification
  • Delay verification while more checks are completed
  • Restrict or remove verification if concerns arise

Playflick may not provide detailed internal reasons for every verification decision.


9. Reasons Verification May Be Rejected

Playflick may reject verification for reasons including:

  • Insufficient information
  • Unable to verify identity or authority
  • Incomplete account profile
  • Misleading account information
  • Impersonation concerns
  • Trademark or brand confusion
  • Recent or serious policy violations
  • Copyright or repeat infringement concerns
  • Fake engagement or artificial growth
  • Fraud, scams, or payment abuse
  • Unsafe or harmful content
  • False, forged, or inconsistent documents
  • The account is not sufficiently active or public-facing
  • Verification is not currently available for the requested account type

10. Removal of Verification

Playflick may remove verification at any time.

Verification may be removed if:

  • The account changes ownership
  • The account changes its name, identity, purpose, or branding in a misleading way
  • The account becomes inactive
  • The account violates Playflick policies
  • The account is involved in scams, fraud, spam, fake engagement, or payment abuse
  • The account impersonates another person, creator, brand, business, or organisation
  • The account loses authority to represent a creator, brand, business, or organisation
  • The account provides false, forged, misleading, or outdated verification information
  • The account creates legal, safety, rights, payment, or reputational risk

11. Verified Accounts Must Follow All Rules

Verified accounts must follow all Playflick policies.

Verification does not protect an account from:

  • Content removal
  • Copyright takedowns
  • Trademark complaints
  • Age restrictions
  • Demonetisation
  • Advertising rejection
  • Paid content restrictions
  • Livestream restrictions
  • Account suspension
  • Account termination
  • Payment holds or reversals

12. Verification and Monetisation

Verification and monetisation are separate unless Playflick states otherwise.

A verified account is not automatically eligible for creator monetisation, paid content, subscriptions, advertising revenue, creator payouts, or business tools.

Monetisation may require separate eligibility checks, payment verification, tax information, rights review, fraud checks, and compliance with Creator Monetisation Terms.


13. Verification and Advertising

Advertiser verification may be required for certain ad tools, business accounts, promoted content, or commercial campaigns.

Verified advertiser status does not guarantee that every ad will be approved.

Ads must still follow the Advertising Policy, Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and applicable law.


14. Verification and Impersonation Protection

Verification may help reduce impersonation, but it does not guarantee that impersonation will never occur.

Users should report fake accounts, misleading profiles, brand impersonation, or false affiliation concerns under the Impersonation Policy, Trademark Policy, or Report Content & Abuse Policy.


15. Misuse of Verification

Users must not misuse verification or claim verified status in a misleading way.

Prohibited behaviour includes:

  • Using fake verification badges
  • Claiming verification when not verified
  • Creating profile images or names that imitate verification
  • Selling, renting, transferring, or trading verified accounts without permission
  • Using verification to scam, mislead, or intimidate users
  • Claiming Playflick endorsement because an account is verified

16. Appeals

If verification is rejected or removed and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review.

Playflick may process verification information to confirm identity, business status, authority, rights ownership, payment eligibility, fraud risk, policy compliance, and account authenticity.

Verification data may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, creator monetisation, rights-holder disputes, appeals, or enforcement.

18. Changes to This Creator Verification Policy

We may update this Creator Verification Policy from time to time.

Changes may reflect new verification tools, identity checks, creator features, monetisation systems, business requirements, safety risks, legal obligations, or platform policies.

Your continued use of Playflick after changes become effective means you agree to the updated policy.
