2. What Are Creator Payouts?
Creator payouts are payments that may be made to eligible creators based on approved monetisation activity on Playflick.
Creator earnings may come from features such as:
- Paid videos
- Video rentals
- Channel subscriptions
- Creator memberships
- Advertising revenue share where available
- Viewer purchases
- Tips or donations where available
- Other creator monetisation features made available by Playflick
Not all creators are eligible for payouts, and not all monetisation features may be available in every country, account type, currency, or platform configuration.
3. Payout Eligibility
To receive creator payouts, you may need to meet Playflick’s eligibility requirements.
Requirements may include:
- Having an active Playflick account in good standing
- Being approved for creator monetisation
- Meeting any minimum age requirement
- Completing identity verification where required
- Providing accurate payment details
- Providing tax information where required
- Meeting any minimum payout threshold
- Following all Playflick policies
- Having no unresolved copyright, trademark, fraud, safety, payment, or policy issues
Playflick may approve, reject, suspend, or remove payout eligibility at any time where necessary.
4. Minimum Age
Creator payout features may require users to be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in their location, whichever is higher.
If a creator is under 18, Playflick may require a parent, legal guardian, or authorised representative to manage monetisation and payout arrangements where allowed.
5. Payout Verification
Before making payouts, Playflick may require verification.
Verification may include:
- Identity verification
- Business verification
- Creator verification
- Payment account verification
- Bank or payout provider verification
- Tax information
- Address confirmation
- Rights-holder or authorisation checks
- Fraud and sanctions checks
If verification is incomplete, inaccurate, expired, suspicious, or rejected, payouts may be delayed, restricted, withheld, or cancelled.
6. Payout Methods
Playflick may support different payout methods depending on your location, currency, account type, payment provider, and platform configuration.
Payout methods may include:
- Bank transfer
- Payment wallet
- Third-party payout provider
- Platform wallet balance where available
- Other payout methods made available by Playflick
Payout providers may apply their own fees, limits, identity checks, processing times, restrictions, and terms.
7. Payout Thresholds
Playflick may require creators to reach a minimum payout threshold before a payout can be requested or processed.
Minimum payout thresholds may vary depending on:
- Currency
- Country or region
- Payout method
- Payment provider
- Creator account type
- Fraud risk
- Platform configuration
If your balance does not meet the required threshold, the balance may remain pending until the threshold is reached, subject to these terms and Playflick policies.
8. Pending, Available, and Estimated Earnings
Playflick may show different balance types.
These may include:
- Estimated earnings: provisional earnings that may change before payout.
- Pending balance: earnings waiting for review, settlement, refund windows, fraud checks, or payment-provider processing.
- Available balance: earnings that may be eligible for payout, subject to payout rules.
- Held balance: earnings temporarily restricted because of reviews, disputes, chargebacks, or policy issues.
Estimated earnings are not guaranteed. Final payout amounts may be adjusted.
9. Platform Fees and Commissions
Playflick may deduct platform fees, commissions, payment-provider fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, invalid traffic adjustments, or other permitted deductions before calculating creator payouts.
The amount payable to creators may depend on:
- The monetisation feature used
- The creator’s plan or account type
- The price charged to viewers
- Platform commission
- Payment-provider fees
- Refunds and chargebacks
- Taxes or withholding
- Currency conversion
- Advertising revenue calculations
- Policy or fraud adjustments
10. Taxes
Creators are responsible for understanding and paying any taxes that apply to their creator earnings.
Playflick may request tax information where required and may withhold taxes where required by law, payment-provider rules, or tax authority requirements.
Playflick does not provide tax advice. Creators should seek independent tax advice where needed.
11. Refunds and Chargebacks
Creator earnings may be reduced, reversed, delayed, or withheld due to refunds, chargebacks, payment disputes, failed payments, or payment-provider reversals.
This may apply to:
- Paid video purchases
- Video rentals
- Creator subscriptions
- Channel memberships
- Tips or donations where available
- Advertising-related earnings
- Other monetised features
If earnings have already been paid out and later become subject to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, invalid traffic, copyright claims, or policy violations, Playflick may offset future earnings, create a negative balance, request repayment, or take other action where permitted.
12. Invalid Traffic and Fake Engagement
Creators must not inflate earnings through fake engagement or invalid activity.
Prohibited activity includes:
- Fake views
- Fake clicks
- Fake subscribers
- Fake watch time
- Bots
- Click farms
- Automated traffic
- Artificial ad impressions
- Self-clicking ads
- Coordinated revenue manipulation
- Using misleading tactics to force views, clicks, purchases, or subscriptions
Earnings connected to invalid traffic or fake engagement may be withheld, reversed, removed, or excluded from payout.
13. Copyright, Rights, and Payouts
Creators must only monetise content they own or have permission to monetise.
Playflick may delay, withhold, reverse, or cancel payouts connected to content that is subject to:
- Copyright complaints
- Trademark complaints
- Privacy complaints
- Impersonation complaints
- Rights-holder disputes
- Repeat infringement concerns
- Legal or regulatory complaints
If content is removed or restricted because of a rights complaint, related earnings may be withheld or reversed.
14. Safety and Policy Violations
Playflick may restrict payouts where content or account activity violates Playflick policies.
This may include violations involving:
- Child safety
- Harassment or bullying
- Hate speech
- Terrorism or violent extremism
- Self-harm or dangerous challenges
- Scams or fraud
- Malware or phishing
- Illegal goods or services
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Misleading paid content
- Advertising abuse
- Platform manipulation
Serious violations may result in loss of monetisation eligibility and forfeiture or reversal of unpaid earnings where permitted by law.
15. Payout Holds
Playflick may place a temporary or permanent hold on payouts.
Reasons may include:
- Identity verification is incomplete
- Payment details are incorrect
- Tax information is missing
- Fraud review is pending
- Invalid traffic is suspected
- Copyright or rights dispute is pending
- Refund or chargeback risk exists
- Account is under moderation review
- Payment provider requires review
- Law enforcement, regulator, or legal request applies
- Sanctions or restricted-party checks are required
Payout holds may remain until the issue is resolved or until Playflick determines that payout is not permitted.
16. Payout Reversals and Negative Balances
Playflick may reverse creator earnings or create a negative balance where necessary.
This may happen because of:
- Refunds
- Chargebacks
- Payment fraud
- Invalid traffic
- Fake engagement
- Copyright claims
- Policy violations
- Duplicate payments
- Accounting errors
- Payment-provider corrections
- Legal or tax requirements
If your account has a negative balance, Playflick may offset future earnings, restrict payouts, request repayment, or take other action where permitted.
17. Payout Timing
Payout timing may vary depending on payment provider, country, currency, verification status, minimum payout threshold, fraud checks, tax checks, refund windows, chargeback risk, and operational processing.
Playflick does not guarantee that payouts will be processed by a specific date unless expressly stated in writing.
Payment providers, banks, wallet providers, or other financial institutions may create additional delays outside Playflick’s control.
18. Payout Errors
If Playflick makes a payout error, we may correct it.
Corrections may include:
- Adding missing earnings
- Removing incorrectly credited earnings
- Reversing duplicate payments
- Correcting platform fee calculations
- Correcting refund or chargeback adjustments
- Correcting currency or tax calculations
- Recovering overpayments where permitted
19. Account Suspension, Termination, and Payouts
If your account is suspended or terminated, Playflick may withhold, delay, reverse, reduce, or cancel payouts depending on the reason for enforcement.
This may apply where the account is connected to:
- Fraud
- Copyright infringement
- Fake engagement
- Invalid traffic
- Chargeback abuse
- Refund abuse
- Scams or illegal activity
- Child safety violations
- Serious community or safety violations
- Payment-provider restrictions
- Legal or regulatory risk
20. Account Deletion and Payouts
If you delete your account, you may lose access to payout tools, earnings dashboards, creator balances, payment settings, tax settings, monetisation tools, and unpaid earnings.
Before deleting your account, review your payout status, pending balances, payment details, tax information, subscriptions, paid content, and monetisation settings.
Account deletion does not automatically require Playflick to pay balances that are ineligible, disputed, below the payout threshold, fraudulent, reversed, restricted, or subject to policy or legal review.
21. No Guarantee of Earnings
Playflick does not guarantee that creators will earn money.
Earnings may depend on many factors, including:
- Audience demand
- Viewer purchases
- Subscription activity
- Advertising demand
- Ad rates
- Viewer location
- Content type
- Policy compliance
- Platform fees
- Payment-provider fees
- Refunds and chargebacks
- Invalid traffic adjustments
- Platform changes
Playflick does not guarantee income, revenue, subscribers, views, watch time, ad performance, paid sales, or creator growth.
