Welcome to Playflick. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Playflick.com, including our website, video platform, creator tools, upload systems, video player, accounts, comments, playlists, subscriptions, advertising features, paid content features, API features, mobile features where available, and any related services operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

By accessing or using Playflick, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Playflick.

In these Terms, “Playflick”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Playflick™ Media .ltd. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, registered user, viewer, creator, uploader, advertiser, customer, subscriber, developer, or other person using Playflick.

2. Your Agreement With Us

By using Playflick, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms
  • You will comply with all applicable laws
  • You will follow our Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, and other published policies
  • You are responsible for your own activity on Playflick
  • You will not misuse, exploit, attack, copy, scrape, interfere with, or abuse the platform

If you use Playflick on behalf of a business, organisation, brand, channel, or other legal entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Playflick.

If you are under 18 years old, you may only use Playflick with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Certain features, including monetisation, paid content, advertising, withdrawals, live streaming, creator earnings, business tools, API access, or developer tools, may require you to be at least 18 years old and may require identity, tax, payment, or business verification.

We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we believe a user is underage, unsafe, fraudulent, or using Playflick in breach of these Terms.

4. Accounts

You may need an account to upload videos, comment, subscribe, create playlists, save videos, use creator tools, buy paid content, advertise, or access certain features.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Keep your login details secure
  • Not share your account with unauthorised persons
  • Not impersonate another person, brand, business, creator, or organisation
  • Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We may suspend, restrict, reclaim, rename, or remove usernames, channel names, profile names, handles, or URLs that infringe rights, impersonate others, mislead users, breach these Terms, or create confusion with Playflick, our partners, public figures, businesses, or protected brands.

5. Your Content

“Your Content” means any video, audio, image, thumbnail, title, description, comment, message, livestream, short, movie, trailer, profile information, text, metadata, link, ad material, or other material you upload, post, submit, stream, publish, advertise, monetise, or make available on Playflick.

You keep ownership of the rights you already have in Your Content.

However, by uploading or posting Your Content to Playflick, you grant Playflick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, process, reproduce, encode, transcode, modify for technical purposes, display, publish, distribute, promote, transmit, make available, analyse, and otherwise use Your Content in connection with operating, improving, protecting, promoting, and providing Playflick.

This licence allows us to:

  • Show your videos and content to viewers
  • Generate thumbnails, previews, clips, embeds, and different video resolutions
  • Make your content available across devices, networks, and regions
  • Display your content in search results, recommendations, feeds, profiles, categories, and playlists
  • Use your content for platform promotion, discovery, and previews
  • Moderate, review, restrict, remove, or preserve content where required

This licence ends when your content is deleted from Playflick, except where:

  • Your content has been shared, embedded, cached, backed up, or otherwise used by others
  • We need to retain copies for legal, safety, security, audit, fraud-prevention, dispute, reporting, or enforcement reasons
  • The content is part of an active investigation, copyright dispute, payment dispute, moderation review, or legal request

6. Your Responsibility for Content

You are fully responsible for Your Content.

You confirm that:

  • You own Your Content, or you have all necessary rights, permissions, licences, and consents to upload and share it
  • Your Content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, moral, database, contractual, or other rights
  • Your Content does not contain illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or prohibited material
  • Your Content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines
  • You will not upload content that exposes Playflick, users, partners, advertisers, payment providers, hosting providers, or third parties to legal, safety, reputational, or operational risk

You must not upload content simply because you found it online. You must have the legal right to use it.

7. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, post, stream, share, sell, promote, advertise, monetise, or link to content that includes, encourages, facilitates, or promotes:

  • Child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, or sexualisation of minors
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, recruitment, propaganda, or instructions for terrorist activity
  • Credible threats, incitement to violence, harassment, stalking, bullying, or targeted abuse
  • Hate speech or dehumanising attacks based on protected characteristics
  • Non-consensual intimate content, sexual extortion, voyeurism, or revenge pornography
  • Illegal pornography or sexual content involving minors
  • Graphic violence, sadistic violence, or content primarily intended to shock or harm
  • Self-harm, suicide encouragement, eating disorder encouragement, or dangerous challenges
  • Scams, phishing, fraud, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes, investment scams, or deceptive monetisation
  • Malware, spyware, hacking tools, credential theft, or unauthorised access
  • Doxxing, private personal data, identity documents, financial data, or confidential information
  • Counterfeit goods, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, stolen goods, or unlawful services
  • Copyright infringement, piracy, leaked paid content, cam-rips, bootlegs, or unauthorised streams
  • Impersonation, misleading identity, fake affiliation, or deceptive manipulation
  • Spam, artificial engagement, fake views, fake likes, fake comments, bot activity, or platform manipulation
  • Content that violates applicable law or creates legal, safety, reputational, or operational risk for Playflick

We may remove, restrict, demonetise, age-restrict, block, report, or preserve content if we believe it may breach these Terms or the law.

8. Moderation and Enforcement

Playflick may moderate content and accounts at our discretion.

We may:

  • Remove content
  • Restrict visibility
  • Age-restrict content
  • Disable comments
  • Block uploads
  • Disable livestreaming
  • Disable monetisation
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Remove followers, likes, comments, views, or other engagement
  • Refuse, delay, reverse, or withhold payments or withdrawals
  • Report content to law enforcement, regulators, child-safety bodies, copyright owners, hosting providers, payment processors, or other relevant parties
  • Preserve information where legally required or reasonably necessary

We are not required to host, promote, monetise, recommend, or continue displaying any content.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an appeal process, but we may act without notice where required for safety, security, legal compliance, platform integrity, fraud prevention, or user protection.

9. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Playflick respects intellectual property rights.

You must not upload videos, music, images, clips, trailers, films, shows, sports footage, livestreams, software, artwork, or other protected material unless you have permission or a legal right to do so.

We may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers. More details are provided in our Copyright & Takedown Policy and Repeat Infringer Policy.

10. Platform Ownership

Playflick and its platform, branding, software, design, logos, trademarks, databases, systems, features, source code, user interface, platform layout, recommendation systems, analytics, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Playflick™ Media .ltd.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, clone, resell, redistribute, frame, mirror, exploit, or create competing services from Playflick without our written permission.

“Playflick™” and related names, logos, marks, designs, and trade dress are trademarks or claimed trademarks of Playflick™ Media .ltd.

11. Paid Features, Subscriptions, Wallets, and Digital Content

Playflick may offer paid features, including subscriptions, creator tools, Pro plans, paid videos, rentals, ad credits, promoted content, channel subscriptions, wallet top-ups, or other digital services.

When you buy a paid feature, you agree to the price, billing terms, renewal terms, access terms, and any additional rules shown at checkout.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Digital purchases provide a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the relevant feature or content
  • You do not own paid videos, rentals, subscriptions, or digital features
  • Access may end if content is removed, your account is terminated, rights expire, or the feature is discontinued
  • Wallet credits, ad credits, or platform balances have no cash value unless we expressly say otherwise
  • We may refuse, reverse, suspend, or investigate payments linked to fraud, abuse, chargebacks, sanctions, or policy violations

12. Creator Monetisation

Playflick may allow eligible creators to earn money through ads, paid videos, subscriptions, rentals, donations, affiliate tools, or other monetisation features.

Monetisation is not guaranteed.

We may require creators to:

  • Meet eligibility requirements
  • Provide accurate identity, tax, payment, and business information
  • Comply with all creator policies
  • Own or control all rights in monetised content
  • Avoid artificial engagement, click fraud, fake views, misleading metadata, or monetisation abuse
  • Comply with applicable tax, consumer, advertising, and financial laws

We may withhold, delay, reverse, reduce, or cancel payments where we suspect fraud, chargebacks, invalid activity, copyright infringement, illegal content, policy violations, sanctions risk, payment-provider restrictions, or legal issues.

13. Advertising

Playflick may offer advertising tools, promoted content, video ads, display ads, self-hosted ads, or campaign features.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring their ads are lawful, accurate, properly targeted, and compliant with all applicable rules.

We may reject, remove, suspend, limit, or stop any ad or campaign for any reason, including where we believe it is misleading, harmful, illegal, low quality, unsafe, discriminatory, adult-oriented, politically sensitive, financially risky, infringing, or harmful to Playflick users or reputation.

14. Third-Party Services

Playflick may use or integrate with third-party providers, including hosting services, storage providers, analytics tools, payment processors, email providers, login providers, live-streaming services, push-notification services, advertising partners, anti-spam tools, content-delivery networks, and security providers.

Your use of third-party features may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies from those providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, decisions, charges, restrictions, security incidents, or data practices, except where required by law.

15. Importing, Embedding, and Third-Party Content

Playflick may provide tools for importing, embedding, or linking to content from third-party platforms.

You are responsible for ensuring that any imported, embedded, or linked content complies with third-party terms, copyright law, and Playflick policies.

We are not responsible for third-party platforms, APIs, availability, errors, removals, restrictions, copyright claims, or changes to third-party services.

16. Safety, Reporting, and Online Harm

You may report content, users, comments, copyright issues, safety issues, illegal content, privacy concerns, impersonation, scams, or other problems by contacting:

We may review reports, take enforcement action, preserve evidence, notify affected users, report to relevant authorities, or cooperate with regulators and law enforcement where appropriate or required.

17. Privacy

By using Playflick, you acknowledge that your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

19. Security

You must not:

  • Access Playflick without authorisation
  • Test, scan, or attack our systems without written permission
  • Bypass security, rate limits, access controls, payment controls, or upload restrictions
  • Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, automation, or fake accounts without permission
  • Interfere with servers, networks, APIs, databases, users, ads, payments, or platform operations
  • Upload malicious files, scripts, payloads, links, or code
  • Attempt to extract source code, databases, private keys, credentials, tokens, user data, or internal systems

We may investigate, block, report, or take legal action against misuse.

20. Service Availability

We aim to keep Playflick available, safe, and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Playflick may be unavailable, delayed, limited, modified, suspended, or discontinued due to maintenance, upgrades, bugs, attacks, outages, legal issues, third-party failures, capacity limits, hosting issues, or business decisions.

We may add, remove, change, rename, restrict, or discontinue features at any time.

21. Disclaimers

Playflick is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:

  • Playflick will always be available
  • Content will be accurate, lawful, complete, safe, or suitable
  • Videos will remain available
  • Accounts, views, likes, followers, comments, rankings, recommendations, earnings, or analytics will be preserved
  • Monetisation will generate income
  • Third-party services will work
  • The platform will be error-free or secure from all threats

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playflick™ Media .ltd and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, audience, reputation, content, or expected savings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for claims relating to Playflick will be limited to the greater of:

  • The amount you paid directly to Playflick in the three months before the claim arose; or
  • £50

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

23. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Playflick™ Media .ltd and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, legal fees, demands, investigations, or proceedings arising from:

  • Your Content
  • Your use of Playflick
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your breach of any law or third-party rights
  • Your copyright infringement
  • Your fraud, abuse, spam, or platform manipulation
  • Your advertising, paid content, monetisation, or commercial activity
  • Your misuse of third-party services

24. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to Playflick at any time if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You breach our Community Guidelines or other policies
  • You create legal, safety, security, copyright, payment, or reputational risk
  • You repeatedly receive complaints or takedown notices
  • You engage in fraud, abuse, spam, harassment, or harmful conduct
  • We are required to do so by law, regulator, court, law enforcement, payment provider, host, CDN, or other service provider
  • We discontinue the service or relevant feature

After termination, we may delete or restrict your content, account data, monetisation access, wallet features, ads, subscriptions, comments, videos, and other platform access, subject to applicable law and our data-retention obligations.

25. Appeals

Where available, you may appeal certain moderation, account, monetisation, or content decisions by contacting:

  • Why you believe the decision was wrong
  • Any supporting information

We may accept, reject, or partially uphold appeals at our discretion, subject to legal obligations.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are significant, we may notify users by email, website notice, account notice, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Playflick after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Playflick.

27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where consumer protection laws give you mandatory rights to bring claims in another jurisdiction.
