This Profile Personalisation & Multiple Profiles Policy explains how Playflick may provide multiple profiles, household profiles, child profiles, profile switching, profile-specific watch history, recommendations, saved items, parental settings, profile PINs, shared-device controls, and related profile personalisation features on Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Profiles help different users on the same account keep viewing activity, recommendations, saved items, age settings, and content preferences more organised. Profiles may also help households manage child-friendly experiences and parental controls where available.

- What profile PINs and profile switching may do

3. Feature Availability
Multiple profiles, child profiles, profile PINs, profile switching, profile avatars, profile-specific watch history, profile-specific saved items, profile recommendations, profile transfer tools, and related features may not be available to every user, country, account type, subscription plan, device, browser, or app version.
Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue profile and multiple-profile features at any time.
4. Multiple Profiles
Playflick may allow an account holder to create multiple profiles under one account where features are available.
Profiles may be used for:
- Different household members
- Children or young users
- Separate content preferences
- Different watch histories
- Different saved lists
- Different recommendation experiences
- Different language or accessibility preferences
Profiles are part of the main account and may not create separate legal accounts unless Playflick expressly provides that feature.
5. Account Holder Responsibility
The account holder is responsible for managing profiles, account access, profile settings, parental controls, billing, subscriptions, paid access, and account security.
The account holder should ensure that profiles are used lawfully, safely, and consistently with Playflick policies.
6. Profile Personalisation
Playflick may personalise each profile separately where features are available.
Profile personalisation may use:
- Profile watch history
- Profile search activity
- Profile saved items
- Profile likes, dislikes, or ratings
- Profile language preferences
- Profile genre preferences
- Profile age settings
- Profile feedback controls
7. Watch History by Profile
Watch history may be stored separately for each profile where features are available.
Profile watch history may affect:
- Continue watching rows
- Recommendations
- Search suggestions
- Watchlist suggestions
- Content preference signals
- Parental or account-level reporting where available
Deleting or clearing watch history from one profile may not affect other profiles or all account-level records.
8. Saved Items and Watchlists by Profile
Saved items, favourites, watchlists, bookmarks, playlists, and collections may be profile-specific where features are available.
Removing saved items from one profile may not remove them from other profiles, account-level records, shared lists, or collaborative playlists where available.
9. Profile Switching
Users may be able to switch between profiles on shared devices where features are available.

Users should choose the correct profile before watching, searching, saving, or purchasing content.
10. Profile PINs
Playflick may provide profile PINs or profile locks where available.
Profile PINs may help reduce casual access to a profile but may not provide the same level of protection as account-level security features.
Profile PINs may not prevent all access by the account holder, authorised users, devices already signed in, support processes, or technical systems.
11. Child Profiles
Playflick may provide child profiles or young-user profiles where available.
Child profiles may include:
- Age-appropriate content settings
- Restricted recommendations
- Limited search features
- Reduced communication features
- Parental control settings
- Restricted mature content access
- Limited personalisation where required
Child profile features may vary by country, law, device, account type, and platform design.
12. Parental Controls
Parents or guardians may be able to manage viewing limits, age settings, profile access, content restrictions, PINs, or other controls where available.
Parental controls may not block every item a parent or guardian considers unsuitable.

13. Age Settings
Profile age settings may affect what content can be viewed, searched, recommended, saved, or accessed.
Users must not misrepresent age information or use profiles to bypass age restrictions, parental controls, child-safety rules, or legal requirements.
14. Profile Names and Avatars
Profile names, icons, avatars, images, and display labels must comply with Playflick policies.
Users must not use profile names or avatars to:
- Harass others
- Impersonate someone
- Expose private information
- Use hate or abusive content
- Sexualise minors
- Promote scams or unsafe links
- Mislead users about official status
15. Shared Devices
Shared devices may create privacy and personalisation risks.
Shared devices may include:
- Family TVs
- Shared tablets
- Shared browsers
- Game consoles
- Streaming devices
- School or workplace devices
- Hotel or public devices
Users should sign out of devices they do not control and review active devices regularly.
16. Profile Privacy Limits
Profiles may help organise viewing activity, but they may not provide complete privacy from the account holder or other authorised account users.
Depending on features and settings, the account holder or other users may be able to see:
- Profile names
- Profile avatars
- Recently watched content
- Saved items
- Watchlists
- Playback activity
- Purchase or rental activity
- Parental control activity
17. Paid Content and Profiles
Purchases, rentals, subscriptions, memberships, wallet balances, tickets, and paid features may be controlled at account level, profile level, or both depending on features.
A profile may not have separate billing rights unless Playflick expressly provides that feature.
The account holder may remain responsible for charges made through the account.
18. Profile Deletion
Users may be able to delete profiles where features are available.
Profile deletion may remove or affect:
- Profile name and avatar
- Profile watch history
- Continue watching rows
- Profile saved items
- Profile preferences
- Profile recommendations
- Profile parental settings
Profile deletion may not remove all account-level, legal, payment, fraud, safety, moderation, or operational records.
19. Profile Transfer or Export
Playflick may offer profile transfer, export, or migration tools where available.
Profile transfer may be limited by:
- Account ownership
- Age settings
- Parental controls
- Paid content rights
- Regional availability
- Privacy requirements
- Technical limitations
- Fraud or security review
Playflick does not guarantee that profiles, saved items, watch history, or preferences can be transferred in every case.
20. Recommendations Across Profiles
Playflick may try to keep profile recommendations separate where features are available.
Recommendations may still be affected by account-level signals, shared devices, regional popularity, trending content, paid access, editorial curation, age settings, or platform design.
21. Notifications and Profiles
Notifications may be account-level, profile-level, device-level, or feature-specific depending on platform design.
Some notifications may reveal profile activity on shared devices, including watch reminders, continue watching prompts, saved item updates, parental control notices, or account alerts.
22. Child Safety
Profiles must not be used to exploit, sexualise, identify, harass, groom, or endanger children or young users.
Users must not use profile switching, fake child profiles, shared devices, or profile settings to bypass child-safety protections or age restrictions.
Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.
23. Misuse of Profiles
Users must not misuse profiles, profile switching, profile names, profile settings, child profiles, PINs, or profile personalisation tools.
Prohibited conduct may include:
- Using profiles to bypass age restrictions
- Creating fake child profiles to evade controls
- Using another person’s profile without permission
- Harassing someone through profile names or avatars
- Using profiles to hide fraud or abuse
- Using shared profiles to sell or rent account access
- Using profile switching to access paid content unlawfully

Users, parents, guardians, account holders, creators, or viewers may contact Playflick about profile settings, multiple profiles, child profiles, profile PINs, profile personalisation, profile privacy concerns, shared-device issues, or suspected profile misuse.

- Resetting or restricting profile settings
- Restricting paid content access
- Restricting account features
- Signing out active devices
- Restricting accounts involved in profile abuse
- Suspending or terminating accounts for serious or repeated abuse
- Preserving records for legal, safety, fraud, rights, payment, or moderation reasons
26. Appeals and Review Requests
If your profile, profile setting, child profile, profile PIN, profile access, account, or related feature was removed or restricted and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy where available.

These records may be retained for platform operation, personalisation, account management, child safety, parental controls, payment protection, legal compliance, moderation, appeals, audits, fraud prevention, safety, and platform integrity.
