Community notes, correction forms, edit suggestions, source submissions, fact-check labels, context notes, trusted reviewer tools, correction history, dispute tools, and related features may not be available to every user, creator, country, account type, content type, device, browser, or app version.

Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue community note, correction, or fact-check features at any time.

4. Types of Corrections

Corrections may relate to factual or metadata information displayed on Playflick.

Corrections may involve:

  • Title names
  • Release dates
  • Episode order
  • Cast and crew credits
  • Person pages
  • Biographies
  • Posters or artwork
  • Age ratings or advisories
  • Festival or award claims
  • Availability information
  • Critic quotes or scores
  • Box office, budget, or performance figures

5. Community Notes

Community notes may provide context, clarification, correction, or source information about content, metadata, claims, titles, people, releases, ratings, reviews, or other information.

Community notes should be:

  • Accurate
  • Relevant
  • Clearly written
  • Supported by reliable sources where possible
  • Non-abusive
  • Non-promotional
  • Respectful of privacy and safety

6. Fact-Check Labels

Playflick may display fact-check labels, correction labels, dispute labels, source notes, or context notices where features are available.

Labels may indicate that information is:

  • Corrected
  • Disputed
  • Unverified
  • Creator-submitted
  • Third-party sourced
  • Community-submitted
  • Under review
  • Updated after correction

Labels may be incomplete, delayed, changed, or removed as information develops.

7. Responsibility for Correction Submissions

Users who submit corrections, notes, sources, or fact-check information are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are accurate, lawful, non-misleading, and submitted in good faith.

Users must not knowingly submit false corrections, fake evidence, misleading sources, harassment, private information, or spam.

Playflick may not independently verify every correction before it appears or is reviewed.

8. Useful Sources

Helpful sources may vary depending on the correction type.

Useful sources may include:

  • Official studio or distributor pages
  • Official creator or production pages
  • Festival or award body pages
  • Official release calendars
  • Reliable publications
  • Verified public records
  • Rights holder statements
  • Official press releases
  • Contributor confirmations where appropriate
  • Legal documents or court orders where required

9. Source Quality

Playflick may consider source quality when reviewing corrections.

Lower-quality sources may include:

  • Anonymous claims
  • Unverified social posts
  • Speculation
  • Fan rumours
  • AI-generated summaries without source support
  • Copied content without attribution
  • Manipulated screenshots
  • Pages created only to support a dispute

Playflick may reject corrections that rely on weak, irrelevant, unverifiable, or misleading sources.

10. Metadata Correction Review

Playflick may review correction submissions manually, automatically, or through a combination of automated systems and human reviewers where features are available.

Review may consider:

  • The correction submitted
  • Existing metadata
  • Source quality
  • Rights holder information
  • Creator or contributor information
  • Community reporting patterns
  • Fraud, spam, or manipulation signals
  • Legal, privacy, safety, or rights concerns

11. Corrections Involving Living People

Corrections involving living people, public figures, private individuals, contributors, children, creators, actors, critics, or crew members require extra care.

Users must not submit corrections that:

  • Defame or harass someone
  • Expose private personal information
  • Misidentify a person
  • Reveal private identities without appropriate basis
  • Make unverified criminal accusations
  • Sexualise or endanger children
  • Misrepresent someone’s role, consent, or authority

12. Corrections Involving Rights and Ownership

Corrections involving copyright, trademark, distribution rights, studio rights, ownership, contributor rights, publicity rights, or licensing may require additional evidence.

Playflick may request:

  • Rights holder confirmation
  • Contracts or licences where appropriate
  • Official business authority
  • Legal documents where required
  • Copyright or trademark notices
  • Court orders or settlement documents where relevant

Rights complaints may also be handled under Playflick’s copyright, trademark, and content licensing policies.

13. Corrections Involving Spoilers

Some corrections may reveal spoilers, including episode order, character deaths, twist reveals, surprise cameos, endings, or post-credit scenes.

Users should avoid unnecessarily including spoilers in public correction text where spoiler-free correction is possible.

Playflick may hide, edit, label, or restrict spoiler-heavy corrections where appropriate.

14. Community Disputes

Community disputes may arise between fans, creators, rights holders, studios, publicists, contributors, critics, or viewers about metadata, credits, continuity, release order, canon, title names, or public facts.

Playflick may review disputes where appropriate, but Playflick may not resolve every fan debate, interpretation dispute, private contract issue, authorship dispute, or editorial disagreement.

Playflick may prefer reliable official sources, rights holder confirmation, verified contributor information, or strong public evidence.

15. Editorial Independence

Playflick may decide whether to accept, reject, edit, label, prioritise, display, hide, or remove corrections and community notes.

Submitting a correction does not guarantee that Playflick will change the relevant content, metadata, title page, person page, review information, or platform label.

Playflick may exercise editorial judgement, platform integrity judgement, legal judgement, and safety judgement when reviewing corrections.

16. No Legal, Financial, or Professional Advice

Community notes, corrections, and fact-check labels are informational and do not provide legal, financial, medical, investment, tax, safety, or professional advice.

Users should not rely on Playflick correction tools as the sole source for legal, financial, contractual, medical, or safety decisions.

17. Correction History

Playflick may maintain correction history, edit history, source history, review history, or version history where features are available.

Correction history may be visible, partially visible, internal only, or unavailable depending on platform design, privacy, safety, legal, or moderation considerations.

18. Correction Abuse

Users must not abuse community notes, correction tools, or fact-check features.

Prohibited conduct may include:

  • Using corrections to manipulate search or reputation

19. Manipulated Evidence

Users must not submit manipulated evidence, forged screenshots, fake emails, altered documents, synthetic source material, fake websites, or misrepresented source links.

Playflick may restrict accounts that submit fake or manipulated evidence.

20. Child Safety

Community notes, corrections, and fact-check tools must not be used to exploit, sexualise, identify, harass, groom, or endanger children or young users.

Users must not use corrections to expose children’s private information, target child actors or young creators, or promote unsafe contact with minors.

Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.
