2. Purpose of This Policy
Playflick may allow users to invite others to view, edit, manage, or contribute to playlists, watchlists, collections, saved lists, favourites, community lists, or creator-curated lists where features are available.
This policy explains:
- How collaborative playlists and shared lists may work
- What list owners and collaborators are responsible for
- How invitations, permissions, visibility, and removal may apply
- How shared-list privacy should be understood
- How list ownership and disputes may be handled
- How Playflick may restrict, remove, or disable shared-list features
3. Feature Availability
Collaborative playlist tools, shared list invitations, editor roles, viewer roles, co-owner roles, list comments, list notes, list activity logs, permission controls, and related features may not be available to every user, account, country, device, content type, or platform surface.
Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue collaborative playlist and shared-list features at any time.
4. List Owners
The list owner is usually the account that creates the collaborative playlist, shared watchlist, or shared collection, unless Playflick provides another ownership method.
List owners may be able to:
- Invite collaborators
- Remove collaborators
- Change list visibility
- Edit list names and descriptions
- Add or remove list items
- Change permissions
- Delete or archive the list
Owner permissions may vary depending on available features.
5. Collaborators
Collaborators may be users invited to contribute to, edit, manage, view, or help curate a shared list.
Collaborators may be able to:
- Add items
- Remove items
- Reorder items
- Add notes or comments
- Invite others where permitted
- Suggest changes where available
- View activity related to the shared list
Collaborators must follow Playflick policies and any list rules set by the owner.
6. Permissions
Shared lists may include different permission levels where features are available.
Permission levels may include:
- Viewer
- Contributor
- Editor
- Moderator
- Co-owner
- Owner
Users should review permission settings carefully before inviting others to edit or manage a list.
7. Invitations
List invitations may be sent through links, messages, emails, profiles, communities, group tools, or other sharing features where available.
Users must not use list invitations to:
- Spam users
- Harass others
- Evade blocks or restrictions
- Promote scams or phishing
- Invite children into unsafe private spaces
- Share paid or restricted access unlawfully
- Spread malware or unsafe links
8. Shared-List Visibility
Collaborative playlists and shared lists may be public, private, unlisted, invite-only, followers-only, community-only, member-only, or restricted where features are available.
Visibility settings may affect who can view, edit, comment on, follow, share, or discover the list.
Users should not assume a shared list is completely private if multiple collaborators, shared links, screenshots, device access, or account access are involved.
9. Privacy of Shared Lists
Shared lists may reveal information about user interests, viewing plans, saved content, favourite creators, films, series, communities, or topics.
Users should avoid adding sensitive, personal, private, or confidential items to shared lists unless they are comfortable with permitted collaborators seeing them.
Playflick may process shared-list activity according to the Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.
10. List Activity and Edit History
Playflick may show list activity, edit history, collaborator actions, item additions, item removals, comments, notes, or timestamps where features are available.
Activity history may help list owners manage collaboration and resolve disputes.
Activity history may not always be complete, permanent, or available to every collaborator.
11. Responsibility for Contributions
Each user is responsible for the items, notes, comments, links, descriptions, images, tags, or other content they add to a collaborative list.
List owners may also be responsible for managing the overall list and removing policy-violating contributions where appropriate.
12. Prohibited Collaborative List Activity
Users must not misuse collaborative playlists or shared lists.
Prohibited activity includes:
- Adding scam links
- Adding malware or phishing links
- Adding hateful, abusive, or harassing content
- Adding sexualised minor content
- Adding infringing or illegal content
- Using shared lists to coordinate harassment

13. Collaborator Abuse
Collaborators must not misuse their permissions.
Collaborator abuse may include:

- Changing visibility without permission where controls allow
- Inviting unwanted users to disrupt the list
- Using the list to target another user

- Using collaborator contributions without respecting agreed permissions where applicable

15. Removing Collaborators
List owners or permitted managers may remove collaborators where features are available.
Removal may happen because of:
- Owner choice

- Spam or unsafe links
- Policy violations
- Privacy concerns
- Community management needs
- Account restrictions or deletion
Playflick does not guarantee that removed collaborators will retain access to list content, activity history, or contributions.
16. Ownership Disputes
Disputes may arise about who owns or controls a collaborative playlist or shared list.
Playflick may review ownership disputes where appropriate, but Playflick may not resolve every private agreement, creative disagreement, personal dispute, or off-platform arrangement between collaborators.
Users should agree clearly on ownership, credit, and responsibilities before collaborating on important lists.
17. Account Deletion or Owner Inactivity
If a list owner deletes their account, becomes inactive, is suspended, or loses access, collaborative list access may be affected.
Playflick may delete, archive, restrict, transfer, or preserve shared lists depending on feature design, legal requirements, safety concerns, rights issues, and platform integrity needs.
Playflick does not guarantee that ownership can always be transferred or restored.
18. Rights and Intellectual Property
Users must respect copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, and other legal rights when adding list names, descriptions, notes, cover images, links, or other materials.
Collaborative lists must not be used to share pirated content, infringing links, unauthorised downloads, counterfeit goods, or rights-violating materials.
19. Child Safety
Collaborative playlists and shared lists must not be used to exploit, sexualise, identify, harass, groom, or endanger children or young users.
Users must not:
- Invite children to unsafe private lists
- Use shared lists to collect children’s private information
- Create exploitative lists involving minors
- Use collaborative lists to target child actors, young creators, or young fans
- Direct children to unsafe external links
- Use shared lists to hide unsafe contact with children
Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.
20. Spam and Manipulation
Collaborative lists must not be used to manipulate search, recommendations, rankings, creator analytics, list discovery, or engagement.
Prohibited manipulation may include:
- Coordinated fake list saves
- Bot-created shared lists
- Mass invitations to boost visibility
- Repeatedly adding unrelated trending content
- Using shared lists to drive fake views
- Using list networks to manipulate recommendations
