Event organisers are responsible for their own event planning, safety, ticketing, venue arrangements, permissions, insurance, staff, refunds, accessibility, legal compliance, and attendee communications.
4. Event Organiser Responsibility
Anyone promoting or organising an event through Playflick is responsible for making sure the event is lawful, safe, honest, and compliant with Playflick policies.
Organisers must provide accurate information about:
- The event name
- The organiser or host
- The event date and time
- The location or online access method
- Ticket price, fees, or access requirements
- Age restrictions
- Refund or cancellation rules
- Accessibility information where relevant
- Safety or entry requirements
- Whether Playflick is involved or not involved

6. Accurate Event Listings
Event listings, videos, posts, thumbnails, descriptions, links, ads, and promotional materials must be accurate.

- Claim fake Playflick involvement
- Mislead users about ticket prices
- Mislead users about film rights or screening permissions
- Misrepresent age restrictions or safety requirements
- Use fake reviews, fake testimonials, or fake attendance numbers
7. Film Screening Rights
Organisers must have the rights, licences, permissions, and venue authority needed to screen films, trailers, videos, livestreams, music, or other protected content.
Screening rights may be required for:

- Documentaries

- Music videos
- Livestream broadcasts
- Private screenings
- Ticketed screenings

Playflick may remove or restrict event promotion where screening rights appear missing, disputed, or unlawful.
8. Ticketing and Payments
Ticketed events, paid screenings, paid livestreams, paid workshops, paid meetups, or paid event access must clearly explain pricing and access terms.

- Events promising guaranteed casting, fame, money, or verification

Users should be careful when attending in-person meetups or events arranged through Playflick or promoted by Playflick users.
Safer practices may include:

- Meeting in public or professional locations
- Telling someone trusted where you are going
- Checking travel and return arrangements
- Keeping personal belongings secure
- Avoiding isolated locations with strangers
- Leaving if you feel unsafe or pressured
- Contacting emergency services if immediate danger exists
12. Children and Young People at Events
Events involving children, young performers, young creators, or young audiences must be handled with extra care.
Organisers must not:
- Invite children to unsafe private meetings
- Encourage children to hide attendance from parents or guardians
- Use events to groom, exploit, or manipulate children
- Request sexual, nude, intimate, or inappropriate material from minors
- Allow unsafe contact between adults and children
- Expose children’s private information, schools, routines, or locations

16. Livestream Events
Livestream events must follow our Livestreaming Policy.
Playflick may stop, restrict, remove, age-restrict, or review livestream events where safety, copyright, privacy, payment, or policy concerns exist.
Organisers should test livestream settings, audio, rights, privacy, chat moderation, and age restrictions before going live.
17. Sponsored or Brand Events
Sponsored events, brand events, paid appearances, product launches, affiliate promotions, paid screenings, or commercial event partnerships must be clearly disclosed where required.

Users may report fake events, unsafe meetups, ticket scams, unauthorised screenings, child-safety concerns, harassment, unsafe links, or misleading event promotions.

- Restricting livestreams
- Restricting paid event access
- Disabling monetisation or advertising
- Withholding or reversing earnings where appropriate
- Restricting accounts, creators, or advertisers

- Preserving records for legal, safety, payment, fraud, or moderation reasons
24. Appeals
If your event listing, screening promotion, meetup post, livestream event, paid event access, account, or feature access was restricted and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy where available.
