Comments, replies, reactions, likes, dislikes, mentions, pinned comments, creator replies, moderation tools, comment filters, and related community features may not be available to every account, creator, content type, country, device, or user type.

Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue comment and community interaction features at any time.


4. Public Nature of Comments

Comments and replies are generally public or visible to the relevant audience where the feature is available.

Users should not post information in comments that they do not want others to see.

Users should avoid posting:

  • Private phone numbers
  • Private email addresses
  • Payment information
  • Passwords or login codes
  • Private family information

5. Respectful Participation

Users must participate respectfully in comments, replies, and public discussions.

Users must not use comments to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others

6. Harassment, Threats, and Abuse

Prohibited comment behaviour includes:

  • Doxxing

  • Using multiple accounts to continue harassment

7. Hate and Dehumanising Content

Comments, replies, usernames, emojis, links, or coded language must not be used to promote hate, dehumanisation, segregation, violence, or discrimination against protected or vulnerable groups.

Playflick may remove comments that include hateful slurs, hateful symbols, violent praise, extremist propaganda, or coded abuse intended to evade moderation.


8. Child Safety in Comments

Comments must not be used to exploit, sexualise, groom, target, identify, harass, or endanger children.

Users must not:

  • Request sexual, nude, intimate, or suggestive content from minors
  • Post sexual comments about minors
  • Ask children to move to private messages or external apps for unsafe contact
  • Share a child’s private location, school, routine, or contact details
  • Encourage children to hide activity from parents or guardians
  • Use fan comments, casting comments, or collaboration comments to groom children

Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action, evidence preservation, and reporting where appropriate or required.


9. Spam and Repetitive Comments

Users must not use comments or replies for spam.

Comment spam may include:

  • Repeated identical comments
  • Mass promotional comments
  • Referral spam
  • Fake giveaway comments
  • Bot-generated comments
  • Comment chains designed to manipulate engagement
  • Posting unrelated links across many videos
  • Using comments mainly to drive traffic to unsafe or unrelated sites

10. Scams, Phishing, and Unsafe Links

Comments must not be used for scams, phishing, malware, fake giveaways, fake support, fake verification, fake account recovery, fake casting calls, or payment fraud.

Prohibited comments may include:

  • Fake Playflick support replies
  • Fake login links
  • Fake prize or giveaway claims
  • Fake crypto, investment, or money-making schemes
  • Links to malware or suspicious downloads
  • Requests for passwords or one-time login codes
  • Requests for full payment card numbers
  • Offers to sell verification, monetisation, followers, views, or subscribers

11. Fake Engagement and Manipulation

Users must not use comments, replies, likes, reactions, or comment groups to manipulate engagement, rankings, recommendations, ratings, reviews, or creator performance.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • Buying or selling comments
  • Using bots to post comments or reactions
  • Coordinating fake praise or fake criticism
  • Comment-for-comment schemes
  • Fake review campaigns
  • Using duplicate accounts to manipulate discussions
  • Posting misleading comments to harm competitors

12. Spoilers and Sensitive Discussion

Playflick may host films, trailers, series, reviews, discussions, and entertainment content where spoilers may affect viewer experience.

Users should avoid deliberately posting spoilers in a misleading, abusive, or disruptive way.

Creators may use pinned comments, descriptions, moderation tools, or community rules to guide spoiler discussions where features are available.


13. Creator Comment Controls

Creators may be able to manage comments on their content where tools are available.

Creator controls may include:

  • Turning comments on or off
  • Deleting comments
  • Pinning comments
  • Holding comments for review

15. Creator Responsibility in Comment Sections

Creators are not automatically responsible for every comment posted by viewers, but creators should not encourage or coordinate policy-violating comment behaviour.

Creators must not:

  • Encourage fans to harass others
  • Encourage spam or fake engagement
  • Pin scam links or fake giveaways
  • Use comments to evade advertising or sponsorship disclosure rules
  • Use comments to direct children to unsafe private contact
  • Knowingly promote illegal, harmful, or exploitative activity through comments

16. Comments on Children’s Content

Playflick may limit, disable, review, or restrict comments on content involving children, child-directed content, family content, school content, or content that raises child-safety concerns.

Playflick may take protective action where comment sections attract sexual, exploitative, predatory, bullying, or unsafe behaviour toward children.


17. Comments on Sensitive Topics

Discussions involving tragedy, illness, death, crime, abuse, politics, identity, religion, conflict, or other sensitive subjects should be handled carefully.

Users must not use comments to exploit victims, harass survivors, spread targeted abuse, encourage violence, or promote harmful misinformation in ways that violate Playflick policies.

19. Comment Likes, Reactions, and Votes

Playflick may allow likes, dislikes, reactions, upvotes, downvotes, or similar signals on comments where features are available.

Users must not manipulate comment reactions through bots, fake accounts, paid engagement, coordinated abuse, or misleading campaigns.

Reaction counts may be delayed, adjusted, hidden, corrected, or removed where needed.


20. Reports About Comments

Users may report comments or replies that involve harassment, threats, hate, child-safety concerns, scams, phishing, spam, impersonation, private information, or other policy violations.
