  • How business verification may apply
  • How organisation disputes may be handled
  • How Playflick may restrict business accounts for risk or misuse

3. Business Account Availability

Business accounts, organisation profiles, studio accounts, team tools, role permissions, business verification, advertiser tools, and related features may not be available to every user, organisation, country, account type, or platform feature.

Playflick may add, remove, restrict, redesign, suspend, or discontinue business account features at any time.

4. Who May Use a Business Account?

Business accounts may be used by lawful organisations and authorised representatives.

Examples may include:

  • Production companies
  • Film studios
  • Distributors
  • Creator agencies
  • Talent agencies
  • Brands
  • Advertisers
  • Publishers
  • Event organisers
  • Marketplace sellers
  • Educational or community organisations where permitted

5. Authorised Representatives

A person creating or managing a business account must have authority to act on behalf of the organisation.

Authorised representatives may include:

  • Company directors
  • Business owners
  • Employees with permission
  • Agency representatives
  • Legal representatives
  • Marketing or advertising managers
  • Production managers
  • Other authorised administrators

Playflick may request proof that a person is authorised to manage or act for a business account.

6. Accurate Business Information

Business account information must be accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

Business information may include:

  • Business name
  • Trading name
  • Registered address
  • Business email
  • Business website
  • Company registration number
  • Tax identification number where required
  • Authorised representative details
  • Business category or industry

7. Business Verification

Playflick may require business verification before allowing access to certain features.

Business verification may be required for:

  • Advertising tools
  • Creator payouts
  • Paid content sales
  • Marketplace or storefront selling
  • API access
  • High-risk transactions
  • Business profile labels
  • Organisation ownership disputes
  • Fraud or risk reviews

More information is available in our Identity Verification & KYC Policy.

8. Team Access and Admin Roles

Playflick may allow business accounts to add team members, admins, editors, analysts, advertisers, developers, moderators, or other role-based users where features are available.

Role permissions may affect access to:

  • Account settings
  • Channel settings
  • Content uploads
  • Creator analytics
  • Advertising campaigns
  • Billing records
  • Payout settings
  • API tools
  • Marketplace or storefront tools
  • Security settings

Business account owners and admins are responsible for managing team access carefully.

9. Admin Responsibility

Business account admins are responsible for actions taken through their access.

Admins should:

  • Use strong passwords
  • Enable security features where available
  • Remove users who no longer need access
  • Review permissions regularly
  • Avoid sharing login credentials
  • Use individual accounts rather than shared passwords where possible
  • Report suspicious activity promptly

10. Shared Credentials Are Risky

Business users should avoid sharing account passwords between employees, contractors, agencies, freelancers, or partners.

Shared credentials can create security, privacy, billing, payment, payout, content, and ownership risks.

Where role-based access is available, organisations should use separate user access instead of shared login details.

11. Agency and Contractor Access

Businesses may use agencies, contractors, freelancers, developers, editors, or other service providers to help manage Playflick accounts.

The business remains responsible for ensuring that third-party access is lawful, authorised, secure, and properly managed.

Businesses should remove access when an agency, contractor, or employee no longer works with them.

12. Account Ownership

Business account ownership may depend on account records, verified business details, authorised representative information, billing records, contracts, domain ownership, support records, and other relevant evidence.

Playflick may review account ownership disputes, but may not be able to decide complex private business, employment, agency, shareholder, partnership, or contract disputes.

13. Organisation Disputes

Disputes may arise between business owners, employees, contractors, agencies, partners, studios, distributors, or creators about who controls a business account.

Playflick may request evidence such as:

  • Business registration documents
  • Proof of authorised representative status
  • Domain ownership records
  • Contracts or agency agreements
  • Billing records
  • Payout records
  • Previous support communications
  • Legal notices or court orders where applicable

Playflick may restrict account changes while a serious ownership or control dispute is reviewed.

14. Business Name and Branding

Business names, organisation names, logos, profile images, banners, descriptions, and storefronts must not mislead users.

Business accounts must not:

  • Impersonate another company
  • Use another brand’s trademark without permission
  • Falsely claim official partnership with Playflick
  • Falsely claim to represent a film, studio, actor, creator, or brand
  • Use fake verification or award badges
  • Use misleading business addresses or contact details

15. Business Account Payments and Billing

Business accounts may use payment methods for advertising, paid content, subscriptions, storefront purchases, marketplace services, wallet top-ups, or other business features where available.

The business is responsible for:

  • Authorised payment method use
  • Accurate billing information
  • Invoice and receipt review
  • Tax information where required
  • Managing advertiser spend
  • Managing refunds, chargebacks, and disputes
  • Removing payment access from unauthorised users

16. Business Account Payouts

Business accounts that receive creator, seller, marketplace, storefront, supporter, or other payouts may need to complete payout setup, business verification, tax information, and risk review.

Payouts may be delayed, held, adjusted, reversed, or refused where verification, tax, payment, sanctions, fraud, rights, or policy concerns exist.

17. Developer and API Access

Business accounts may request API or developer access where available.

Business API use must comply with our API & Developer Terms and API Rate Limits & Fair Use Policy.

Businesses are responsible for securing API tokens, developer credentials, integrations, webhooks, and connected applications.

18. Business Account Security

Businesses should protect their accounts, devices, email addresses, payment methods, payout methods, API tokens, and admin access.

Security risks may include:

  • Shared passwords
  • Former employee access
  • Compromised email accounts
  • Phishing
  • Fake support messages
  • Insecure API tokens
  • Unauthorised payment method use
  • Unauthorised payout changes

19. Account Compromise

If a business account appears compromised, Playflick may take protective action.

Protective action may include:

  • Requiring password reset
  • Requiring email verification
  • Restricting admin changes
  • Restricting payment or payout changes
  • Restricting uploads, ads, or marketplace activity
  • Requesting business verification
  • Pausing payouts or ad spend during review

20. Business Account Misuse

Business accounts must not be used for fraud, scams, impersonation, spam, fake engagement, payment abuse, rights abuse, advertising abuse, or illegal activity.

Prohibited misuse includes:

  • Creating fake business accounts
  • Using stolen business information
  • Using business accounts to evade enforcement
  • Running scam ads or phishing campaigns
  • Selling counterfeit or infringing goods
  • Misrepresenting rights ownership
  • Using unauthorised payment or payout methods
  • Allowing banned users to operate through the business account

21. Employee, Contractor, and Agency Departures

Organisations should update account access when employees, contractors, agencies, partners, developers, or other representatives leave or no longer need access.

Failure to remove access may result in unauthorised account actions, billing changes, content changes, ad spend, payout changes, or data exposure.

22. Business Account Suspension or Termination

Playflick may suspend, restrict, or terminate business accounts where appropriate.

Reasons may include:

  • Policy violations
  • False business information
  • Verification failure
  • Fraud or payment abuse
  • Advertising violations
  • Marketplace or storefront abuse
  • Rights infringement
  • Security compromise
  • Sanctions or restricted-country concerns
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

These records may be retained for account administration, security, billing, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, payment disputes, legal compliance, moderation, appeals, audits, and platform integrity.
