- Creator or advertiser review abuse
3. Honest Reviews and Ratings
Reviews, ratings, and feedback should be honest, relevant, and based on genuine experience where applicable.
Users should not submit ratings or reviews that are false, misleading, abusive, spammy, manipulated, or designed mainly to harm or artificially boost another user, creator, business, advertiser, or piece of content.

5. Prohibited Review Activity

6. Fake Reviews and Fake Ratings
Fake reviews and fake ratings are not allowed.
Fake review activity may include:
- Reviewing your own content from another account without disclosure
- Asking friends, staff, or paid workers to post false praise
- Posting negative reviews of competitors using fake accounts
- Using bots or automation to create ratings
- Offering rewards for positive reviews without disclosure
- Threatening creators or businesses with negative reviews unless they provide something
- Posting reviews that falsely claim a purchase, rental, subscription, or viewing experience
7. Paid, Sponsored, or Incentivised Reviews
Paid, sponsored, gifted, affiliate, or incentivised reviews must be clearly disclosed where required.
This may include reviews where the reviewer received:

- Creator perks
- Advertising benefits
- Any other material benefit

8. Creator Review Manipulation
Creators must not manipulate reviews, ratings, likes, dislikes, or feedback.
Creators must not:
- Buy fake positive reviews
- Use fake accounts to rate their own content
- Pressure users to leave only positive reviews
- Offer hidden rewards for positive reviews
- Threaten users who leave negative reviews
- Coordinate attacks on competing creators
- Use giveaways to require fake reviews or fake ratings
- Misrepresent review scores in advertising or metadata
9. Review Bombing
Review bombing means coordinated or artificial rating activity designed to harm, punish, pressure, or manipulate content, creators, brands, films, or accounts.
Playflick may limit, remove, discount, or investigate reviews and ratings where review bombing is suspected.
Review bombing signals may include:
- Large unusual spikes in ratings
- Coordinated off-platform campaigns
- Repeated identical comments
- New accounts created mainly to rate one item
- Ratings unrelated to the actual content
- Harassment or threats connected to rating activity
10. Harassment and Abusive Reviews
Reviews and feedback must follow Playflick’s Community Guidelines.
Reviews must not include:
- Threats
- Targeted harassment
- Hate speech
- Sexual harassment
- Private personal information
- Defamatory or knowingly false claims
- Abuse aimed at children or vulnerable people
- Encouragement of self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
Critical reviews are allowed, but abuse, threats, and harassment are not.
11. Spoilers
Reviews may include spoilers, especially for films, series, episodes, trailers, or story-based content.
Where spoiler tools or warnings are available, users should use them respectfully.
Playflick may hide, label, or reduce visibility of reviews that intentionally spoil content in a misleading, harassing, or abusive way.
12. Reviews of Paid Content
Reviews of paid videos, rentals, subscriptions, memberships, or premium content should be honest and based on genuine experience where applicable.
Users must not:
- Falsely claim they paid for content they did not buy

13. Reviews and Advertising
Advertisers, brands, creators, and businesses must not use fake or misleading reviews in ads, promoted content, landing pages, sponsored videos, or affiliate campaigns.
Advertising that includes reviews, ratings, testimonials, or endorsements must be truthful, supportable, and properly disclosed where required.
Playflick may reject or remove ads that use fake reviews, fake ratings, fake testimonials, or misleading endorsement claims.
14. Platform Feedback
Users may provide feedback about Playflick features, policies, support, technical issues, accessibility, safety, payments, search, recommendations, or user experience.
By submitting platform feedback, you understand that Playflick may review, use, analyse, summarise, or act on feedback to improve the platform, without owing compensation unless separately agreed.
Feedback should not include passwords, full card numbers, private security codes, or unnecessary sensitive information.
