2. Purpose of This Policy
Playflick may allow creators, filmmakers, studios, distributors, brands, and businesses to schedule content for release at a future date or time where the feature is available.
This policy explains:
- How scheduled releases may work
- How premieres may be promoted
- What creators are responsible for before launch
- How delays, failures, or cancellations may be handled
- How paid or subscriber-only premieres may be affected
- Why Playflick does not guarantee exact release timing or reach
3. No Guaranteed Availability of Premiere Features
Premiere, countdown, scheduled release, early access, reminder, livestream launch, subscriber-only release, and related publishing features may not be available to all users, creators, countries, accounts, or content types.
Playflick may add, remove, limit, rename, redesign, suspend, or discontinue scheduled release features at any time.
4. Creator Responsibility Before Scheduling
Creators are responsible for checking that scheduled content is ready before setting a release time.
Before scheduling, creators should confirm:
- The correct video or film file has been uploaded
- The video has processed properly where possible
- The title, description, tags, and category are accurate
- The thumbnail, poster, or artwork is correct
- Captions or subtitles are correct where included
- Age rating or content warning information is accurate
- Paid content settings are correct where applicable
- Subscription or early-access settings are correct where applicable
- All rights, licences, releases, and permissions are in place
- Sponsorship, affiliate, or AI disclosures are included where required
5. Scheduled Release Times
Scheduled release times may depend on platform settings, creator settings, account settings, timezone settings, device settings, server time, technical systems, and platform availability.
Creators should check timezone settings carefully before scheduling a release.
Playflick does not guarantee that scheduled releases will publish at the exact second, minute, or time expected.
6. Time Zones
Creators should make sure they understand which timezone applies to a scheduled release.
Confusion may happen where:
- The creator is in one country and viewers are in another
- The account timezone differs from the creator’s local timezone
- Daylight saving time changes apply
- A release is promoted internationally
- Team members manage the same channel from different locations
Playflick is not responsible for creator mistakes caused by incorrect timezone settings or misunderstood launch times.
7. Premiere Pages and Countdown Features
Where available, Playflick may create premiere pages, countdown pages, reminder tools, waiting pages, launch pages, or pre-release pages.
These features may show:
- Title
- Thumbnail or poster
- Description
- Release date and time
- Creator or channel name
- Content rating or warning where available
- Reminder or notification options where available
- Paid access or subscription information where applicable
Playflick may remove or change premiere pages where content is restricted, removed, delayed, or unavailable.
8. Notifications and Reminders
Playflick may offer reminders, notifications, emails, push notifications, subscriber alerts, or other release notifications where available.
Playflick does not guarantee that all viewers, subscribers, followers, or interested users will receive notifications.
Notifications may be affected by:
- User settings
- Device settings
- Email deliverability
- App permissions
- Account status
- Technical issues
- Spam or safety filters
- Platform notification limits
9. Discovery and Promotion
Scheduling a premiere or release does not guarantee homepage placement, trending placement, search ranking, recommendations, subscriber notifications, views, watch time, sales, subscribers, or revenue.
Release visibility may depend on:
- Search and ranking systems
- Recommendation systems
- Viewer interest
- Content quality
- Metadata accuracy
- Policy status
- Age restrictions
- Paid content settings
- Creator reputation
- Spam or fake engagement signals
10. Early Access
Playflick may allow early access for subscribers, members, supporters, private viewers, reviewers, film festival judges, press, partners, or selected users where the feature is available.
Creators are responsible for setting early-access permissions correctly.
Early-access content may still be subject to review, removal, restriction, copyright claims, age restrictions, paid content rules, and privacy or safety policies.
11. Private, Unlisted, or Limited Releases
Playflick may allow private, unlisted, limited, or restricted releases where available.
Creators should understand that restricted links may still be shared by people who have access, unless Playflick provides stricter controls.
Playflick does not guarantee full confidentiality of private or limited releases unless expressly agreed in writing.
12. Paid Premieres and Paid Releases
Paid premieres, paid videos, rentals, subscriber-only launches, premium access, or paid livestream releases may be subject to extra requirements.
Creators must ensure:
- Paid access settings are correct
- Pricing is accurate
- Rental or access periods are clear where applicable
- The content is ready at release time
- The content matches the description
- All distribution and monetisation rights are in place
- Refund and billing rules are understood
Misleading paid releases may lead to refunds, restrictions, payment holds, demonetisation, or account action.
13. Livestream Premieres
Livestream premieres may create additional risks because they may happen in real time.
Playflick may stop, restrict, remove, age-restrict, or review livestream premieres where safety, copyright, privacy, payment, or policy concerns exist.
Creators should test livestream settings, rights, audio, privacy, chat moderation, and age restrictions before launch.
14. Trailer Drops and Promotional Releases
Creators may use scheduled releases for trailers, teasers, announcements, behind-the-scenes videos, cast reveals, poster reveals, or promotional videos.
Promotional releases must not:
- Mislead viewers about the film or release date
- Use fake awards, fake reviews, or fake endorsements
- Use footage, music, images, or logos without permission
- Promote scams, phishing, or unsafe links
- Hide sponsored content where disclosure is required
- Claim official status falsely
15. Delays and Failed Releases
A scheduled release may be delayed, fail, or become unavailable for technical, account, policy, rights, payment, safety, or platform reasons.
Reasons may include:

- Thumbnail or metadata issue
- Copyright complaint or rights review
- Content policy review
- Age restriction review

- Changing thumbnail or artwork
- Changing release time
- Changing visibility settings
- Changing paid access settings
- Changing category or tags
- Replacing or re-uploading the video where available
- Adding captions, subtitles, or warnings
Some changes may trigger review, processing delays, notification changes, or visibility changes.
17. Cancelling a Scheduled Release
Creators may be able to cancel, postpone, delete, or reschedule a release where features allow.
Cancelling or changing a scheduled release may affect:
- Viewer reminders
- Subscriber expectations
- Paid access
- Rental or subscription promises
- Advertising campaigns
- External promotions
- Search and recommendation visibility
- Refund or support requests
Creators should communicate major release changes clearly where appropriate.
18. Release Date Claims
Release date claims must be accurate and not misleading.
Creators must not falsely claim:
- A film is premiering exclusively on Playflick if it is not
- A trailer is official if it is not
- A release date is confirmed when it is not
- A premiere includes cast, crew, or studio involvement when it does not
- A release is live when only a teaser or placeholder is available
- A paid premiere includes access that will not be provided
19. Rights and Release Windows
Creators and distributors must ensure that scheduled releases do not breach distribution agreements, festival premiere rules, licensing windows, exclusivity agreements, territory restrictions, music rights, talent agreements, or other contractual obligations.
Playflick may remove, delay, restrict, or disable scheduled releases where rights or release-window concerns exist.
20. Age Restrictions and Content Warnings
Scheduled content may be age-restricted, labelled, reduced in visibility, or removed before or after release if Playflick determines that restrictions are required.
Creators should apply accurate warnings where available for:
- Violence
- Strong language
- Horror or disturbing scenes
- Sexual content
- Drug, alcohol, or tobacco references
- Self-harm themes
- Flashing or strobing effects
- Distressing documentary material
21. Sponsored Premieres
Sponsored premieres, paid promotions, brand partnerships, affiliate campaigns, product placements, or commercial launch events must be disclosed where required.
Sponsored premiere content must not mislead viewers, hide paid relationships, promote unsafe products, target children unfairly, or violate Playflick’s Advertising Policy.

Creators should test uploads and release settings before announcing major premieres.
Useful checks may include:
- Playback works correctly
- Audio is synced
- Captions are correct
- Thumbnail is correct
- Release date and timezone are correct
- Paid access settings are correct
- Age restriction or warnings are correct
- External links are safe
23. Platform Outages and Service Issues
Playflick may experience outages, maintenance, technical issues, third-party provider failures, or service changes that affect scheduled releases or premieres.
Playflick does not guarantee uninterrupted release functionality, exact launch timing, notification delivery, viewer access, paid access, livestream access, or platform availability.
More information is available in our Platform Availability & Service Changes Policy.
24. Refunds and Viewer Complaints
Paid premieres, rentals, subscriber-only launches, or paid livestream releases may lead to refund or support requests if access fails, the content is unavailable, the description is misleading, or the release is cancelled.
Refund eligibility is handled under our Refund Policy, Refund Request Help Page, Payments & Billing Terms, Paid Content Terms, and Subscriptions Terms.
