Playflick may allow eligible users to support eligible creators through tips, supporter payments, donations-style payments, appreciation payments, or similar voluntary payment features where available.

This policy explains:

  • How Playflick may restrict misuse
  • How creator payouts, taxes, and fees may apply

3. No Guaranteed Availability

Tips, donations-style payments, supporter payments, fan support, creator appreciation payments, and similar features may not be available to every creator, user, account, country, payment method, currency, device, or content type.

Playflick may add, remove, restrict, suspend, redesign, rename, or discontinue supporter payment features at any time.


4. Voluntary Support Payments

Unless Playflick clearly states otherwise, tips and supporter payments are voluntary payments made to support a creator.

A supporter payment does not automatically create:

  • A subscription
  • A membership
  • A purchase of paid content
  • A right to private contact
  • A right to special treatment
  • A right to creator services
  • A right to future content
  • A right to influence creator decisions
  • A right to a refund

5. Creator Eligibility

Creators may need to meet eligibility requirements before receiving tips or supporter payments.

Requirements may include:

  • Having an active Playflick account
  • Being approved for monetisation where required
  • Meeting minimum age requirements
  • Providing accurate payout information
  • Providing tax information where required
  • Passing verification checks where required
  • Complying with Playflick policies
  • Not being restricted under sanctions or restricted-country rules

Playflick may approve, refuse, pause, or remove access to supporter payment features where appropriate.


6. User Eligibility

Users may need to meet eligibility requirements before sending tips or supporter payments.

Requirements may include:

  • Having an active account
  • Using an accepted payment method
  • Meeting age requirements
  • Being located in a supported country or region
  • Not being subject to account restrictions
  • Complying with Playflick policies

Users under 18 should not send supporter payments without permission from a parent or legal guardian.


7. Fees, Commission, and Net Amounts

Playflick may deduct platform commission, service fees, payment-provider fees, taxes, currency conversion costs, chargeback costs, refunds, or other permitted deductions from supporter payments.

The amount paid by a supporter may not be the same as the amount received by the creator.

Creator earnings from supporter payments may be calculated as net revenue after applicable deductions.


8. Taxes

Supporter payments may have tax consequences for creators and, in some cases, users.

Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations unless Playflick or a payment provider is legally required to collect, report, withhold, or remit taxes.

Playflick may request tax information before allowing payouts.

9. Supporter Messages

Playflick may allow supporters to include messages with tips or supporter payments where available.

Supporter messages must follow Playflick policies.

Supporter messages must not include:

  • Harassment or threats
  • Hate speech
  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Private information
  • Scams, phishing, or malware links
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Requests for unsafe private contact
  • Attempts to pressure, manipulate, or exploit creators

Playflick may remove, hide, restrict, or review supporter messages where appropriate.


10. Creator Promises and Misleading Claims

Creators must not mislead users about what a tip or supporter payment provides.

Creators must not falsely promise:

  • Guaranteed private replies
  • Guaranteed shout-outs
  • Guaranteed content creation
  • Guaranteed access to paid content
  • Guaranteed subscriptions or memberships
  • Guaranteed refunds
  • Guaranteed investment returns
  • Guaranteed prizes or giveaways
  • Guaranteed account promotion, followers, views, or revenue

If a creator offers a specific paid benefit, it may need to be handled under membership, paid content, subscription, or advertising rules rather than voluntary supporter payment rules.


11. Prohibited Use of Supporter Payments

Creators and users must not use supporter payments for prohibited activity.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • Scams or fraud
  • Money laundering
  • Payment abuse
  • Fake donations
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Adult sexual services
  • Child exploitation or grooming
  • Harassment, blackmail, or coercion
  • Fake engagement or platform manipulation
  • Bypassing paid content, subscription, or wallet rules
  • Funding prohibited or harmful content

12. Children and Vulnerable Users

Creators must not exploit children, young users, or vulnerable users through tips or supporter payments.

Creators must not:

  • Pressure children to send money
  • Tell children to use a parent or guardian’s payment method without permission
  • Offer unsafe private contact as a reward
  • Use emotional manipulation to pressure payments
  • Use children in exploitative fundraising appeals
  • Request money in exchange for inappropriate access or communication

Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account action and reporting where appropriate or required.


13. Charitable or Fundraising Claims

Creators must not falsely claim that supporter payments are for a charity, fundraiser, emergency, medical cause, community project, public campaign, or other special purpose.

If a creator says supporter payments will be used for a specific purpose, the creator is responsible for ensuring the claim is truthful and lawful.

Playflick may request evidence for fundraising, charity, or public-interest claims where appropriate.


14. No Investment or Financial Returns

Supporter payments must not be used as investment products, profit-sharing offers, securities, lending schemes, crypto schemes, gambling arrangements, or guaranteed-return opportunities.

Creators must not promise supporters:

  • Profit shares
  • Investment returns
  • Equity or ownership
  • Guaranteed future payouts
  • Crypto or token gains
  • Prize winnings based on payment

15. Refunds

Tips and supporter payments are not always refundable.

Refund availability may depend on:

  • The payment method
  • The payment provider
  • Whether the payment was unauthorised
  • Whether fraud or abuse is suspected
  • Whether the creator misled the supporter
  • Whether the payment has already been paid out
  • Applicable law

16. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Chargebacks, payment reversals, disputed payments, failed payments, fraud claims, or unauthorised payment claims may reduce creator balances or payouts.

Playflick may withhold, reverse, deduct, or adjust creator earnings where supporter payments are refunded, reversed, disputed, unauthorised, fraudulent, or otherwise not successfully collected.


17. Creator Payouts

Supporter payment earnings may be paid to creators only where the creator is eligible and payout requirements are satisfied.

Payout requirements may include:

  • Minimum payout threshold
  • Valid payout method
  • Completed tax information where required
  • Completed verification where required
  • No active payment hold
  • No unresolved fraud, rights, policy, or account issue
  • Supported country or region

18. Payment Holds

Playflick may place holds on supporter payment revenue.

Holds may apply because of:

  • Fraud review
  • Chargeback risk
  • Refund review
  • Payment-provider review
  • Tax information issues
  • Payout verification issues
  • Sanctions or restricted-country concerns
  • Account compromise concerns
  • Policy violations
  • Suspicious payment patterns

19. Supporter Payment Limits

Playflick may apply limits to supporter payments.

Limits may include:

  • Minimum payment amount
  • Maximum payment amount
  • Daily or monthly payment limits
  • Payment method limits
  • Country or currency limits
  • Account-level risk limits
  • Age-related limits
  • Creator eligibility limits

Limits may change over time for safety, fraud prevention, payment, tax, legal, or platform reasons.


20. Supporter Payments and Content Moderation

Supporter payment features may be disabled or restricted if a creator’s content, account, livestream, comments, external links, paid content, or community activity violates Playflick policies.

Playflick may also restrict supporter payment features for creators involved in repeated complaints, scams, harassment, child-safety issues, fake engagement, or payment abuse.


21. Account Suspension or Termination

If a creator account is suspended or terminated, supporter payment features may be disabled and pending balances may be reviewed.

Playflick may withhold, reverse, or refuse payout of supporter payment revenue connected to fraud, illegal activity, policy violations, chargebacks, sanctions, or payment abuse.

22. Reports About Supporter Payment Abuse

Users may report misleading, abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, or prohibited use of tips or supporter payments.

23. Enforcement

  • Restricting creator monetisation
  • Withholding or reversing earnings
  • Issuing refunds or credits where appropriate
  • Restricting payment methods
  • Applying payout holds
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Preserving records for payment, legal, safety, fraud, or moderation reasons

24. Appeals

If your supporter payment feature, payout, balance, account, or monetisation access was restricted and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy where available.
