3. No Guaranteed Earnings

Playflick does not guarantee that creators will earn revenue, receive views, attract subscribers, sell paid content, receive ad revenue, receive tips, or qualify for payouts.

Creator earnings may vary based on many factors, including:

  • Audience size
  • Viewer engagement
  • Content quality
  • Advertising demand
  • Subscription activity
  • Paid content purchases
  • Refunds and chargebacks
  • Viewer country or region
  • Currency conversion
  • Platform policies
  • Payment-provider rules

Where available, creator revenue share may apply to one or more Playflick monetisation features.

These may include:

  • Paid videos
  • Video rentals
  • Creator subscriptions
  • Channel memberships
  • Tips or donations where available
  • Paid livestreams where available
  • Premium creator features where available
  • Other monetisation tools introduced by Playflick

Not all monetisation features may be available to every creator, account, country, content type, or audience.

5. Creator Eligibility

  • Providing accurate payout information
  • Providing accurate tax information where required

Playflick may approve, reject, suspend, or remove monetisation eligibility at its discretion where permitted by law.

6. Platform Commission

Playflick may keep a platform commission, service fee, processing fee, or other permitted deduction from creator monetisation revenue.

Platform commission may vary depending on:

  • Feature type
  • Creator programme
  • Payment method
  • Subscription type
  • Paid content type
  • Advertising product
  • Currency
  • Country or region
  • Taxes and legal requirements
  • Special agreements where applicable

Playflick may change commission rates, fees, and revenue share structures from time to time.

7. Advertising Revenue Share

Where advertising revenue share is available, creators may receive a share of eligible advertising revenue generated from eligible content.

Advertising revenue share may be affected by:

  • Ad availability
  • Advertiser demand
  • Viewer location
  • Content category
  • Advertiser suitability
  • Ad impressions
  • Ad clicks
  • Invalid traffic filtering
  • Ad-blocking or technical limitations
  • Refunds, credits, or billing adjustments
  • Advertiser payment status

Playflick does not guarantee that ads will appear on any content or that any ad placement will generate revenue.

8. Paid Content Revenue Share

Where paid videos, rentals, movies, or paid content features are available, creators may receive a share of eligible net revenue from purchases or rentals.

Paid content revenue may be adjusted for:

  • Platform commission
  • Payment-provider fees
  • Taxes
  • Currency conversion
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Fraud checks
  • Rights disputes
  • Policy enforcement
  • Buyer access issues

Creators must have all rights needed to sell or rent paid content on Playflick.

Where creator subscriptions, channel memberships, or subscriber-only features are available, creators may receive a share of eligible subscription revenue.

Subscription revenue may be affected by:

  • Subscription price
  • Platform commission
  • Payment-provider fees
  • Trial periods
  • Discounts or promotions
  • Cancellations
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Failed renewals
  • Taxes or withholding
  • Subscriber location

Creators are responsible for describing subscription benefits accurately and delivering promised eligible benefits where required.

10. Tips, Donations, and Supporter Payments

If tips, donations, supporter payments, or similar features are available, creators may receive a share of eligible supporter payments.

These payments may be subject to:

  • Platform commission
  • Payment-provider fees
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Fraud checks
  • Tax rules
  • Minimum payout thresholds
  • Sanctions and restricted-country rules

Creators must not mislead supporters, pressure vulnerable users, exploit children, or use supporter payments for scams, fraud, illegal activity, or prohibited content.

11. Net Revenue

Creator revenue share may be calculated from net revenue rather than gross revenue.

Net revenue may be calculated after deductions such as:

  • Platform commission
  • Payment-provider fees
  • App store fees where applicable
  • Taxes collected or remitted
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Currency conversion costs
  • Promotional discounts
  • Ad credits
  • Invalid traffic adjustments
  • Fraud or abuse adjustments

The exact calculation may vary by feature, country, payment provider, and monetisation programme.

12. Estimated Earnings vs Final Earnings

Creator dashboards may show estimated earnings, pending earnings, final earnings, available balance, or payout-ready amounts where available.

Estimated earnings are not final and may change due to:

  • Invalid traffic checks
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Payment failures
  • Revenue reconciliation
  • Advertising adjustments
  • Tax withholding
  • Currency conversion
  • Policy enforcement
  • Technical corrections

Final payout amounts may differ from dashboard estimates.

13. Invalid Traffic and Fake Engagement

Creator revenue connected to invalid traffic, fake engagement, bots, click farms, spam, artificial watch time, manipulated ad activity, fraudulent purchases, or coordinated abuse may be withheld, reversed, removed, or excluded from payout.

Invalid activity may include:

  • Fake views
  • Fake watch time
  • Fake ad impressions
  • Fake ad clicks
  • Fake subscribers
  • Fake purchases
  • Refund abuse
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Bot traffic
  • Click farms
  • Self-clicking ads
  • Coordinated monetisation manipulation

14. Refunds and Chargebacks

Refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, failed payments, disputed payments, or billing corrections may reduce creator revenue.

Playflick may deduct or reverse amounts from creator balances where payments are refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, unauthorised, or otherwise not collected successfully.

This may apply even after earnings were previously estimated or displayed in a dashboard.

15. Taxes and Withholding

Creator revenue may be subject to taxes, withholding, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations unless Playflick or a payment provider is legally required to collect, withhold, report, or remit taxes.

Playflick may request tax information before enabling payouts or may withhold amounts where required.

More information is available in our Tax Information Policy.

16. Currency Conversion

Creator revenue may be calculated, displayed, paid, or converted in different currencies depending on the feature, payment provider, buyer location, creator location, and payout method.

Currency conversion may involve:

  • Exchange rate changes
  • Payment-provider conversion fees
  • Bank fees
  • Rounding differences
  • Regional pricing differences

Playflick does not guarantee a particular exchange rate unless expressly stated.

17. Minimum Payout Thresholds

Playflick may require creators to reach a minimum payout threshold before a payout is available.

Minimum thresholds may vary depending on:

  • Country or region
  • Currency
  • Payout provider
  • Payment method
  • Creator programme
  • Tax or compliance status
  • Platform settings

Balances below the payout threshold may remain pending until the threshold is reached, unless otherwise handled under Playflick rules.

18. Payment Holds and Revenue Holds

Playflick may place holds on creator revenue where necessary.

Holds may apply because of:

  • Fraud review
  • Invalid traffic review
  • Copyright or rights disputes
  • Policy violations
  • Chargeback risk
  • Tax information missing or incomplete
  • Payout verification issues
  • Sanctions or restricted-country concerns
  • Account ownership disputes
  • Security or account compromise concerns

19. Revenue Share Changes

Playflick may change revenue share rates, commission rates, eligible features, payout calculations, creator programme rules, payment-provider support, monetisation eligibility, or related terms from time to time.

Changes may apply to future earnings and, where necessary, to pending or adjusted earnings affected by refunds, chargebacks, invalid traffic, legal requirements, tax rules, or payment-provider corrections.

20. Content Eligibility

Not all content is eligible for revenue share.

Content may be ineligible if it:

  • Violates Playflick policies
  • Contains copyright-infringing material
  • Contains misleading metadata
  • Contains fake engagement
  • Is age-restricted or unsuitable for advertisers where relevant
  • Promotes scams, illegal activity, or unsafe products
  • Uses non-consensual intimate content
  • Exploits or endangers children
  • Is subject to rights disputes or legal restrictions

Playflick may demonetise, restrict, remove, or exclude content from revenue share where appropriate.

21. Creator Responsibility

Creators are responsible for:

  • Following Playflick policies
  • Uploading content they own or have permission to use
  • Providing accurate monetisation, payout, and tax information
  • Avoiding fake engagement and invalid traffic
  • Disclosing sponsored content where required
  • Describing paid content accurately
  • Managing subscriptions responsibly
  • Keeping payout accounts secure
  • Keeping their own business, tax, and accounting records

22. Revenue Reports and Records

Playflick may provide revenue reports, analytics, statements, payout summaries, transaction histories, or creator dashboard information where available.

These reports may be delayed, estimated, corrected, adjusted, or unavailable.

Creators should keep their own records for tax, accounting, business, and dispute purposes.
