- Creator monetisation activity
- API or developer activity
3. Moderation Is Context-Based
Playflick may review content based on context, not just individual words, images, clips, or reports.
Context may include:
- The full video or post
- The title, description, tags, and thumbnail
- The creator’s explanation or purpose
- Whether the content is fictional, documentary, educational, satirical, newsworthy, or promotional
- The likely audience
- Whether children may be affected
- Whether the content creates real-world harm
- Whether there is consent from people shown
- Whether the creator has a history of similar issues
- Whether the content is monetised, advertised, or paid
4. Moderation Outcomes
Playflick may apply different moderation outcomes depending on severity, context, risk, and policy requirements.
Outcomes may include:
- No action
- Warning or notice
- Request for edits or additional disclosure
- Age restriction
- Content warning or label
- Reduced visibility
- Removal from search, trending, or recommendations
- Comment restrictions
- Livestream restrictions

5. Severity Levels
Playflick may consider the severity of a violation when deciding what action to take.

6. Zero-Tolerance Content
Some content may result in immediate removal and serious account action.

- Terrorist or violent extremist content
- Instructions for serious real-world harm
- Malware, phishing, or credential theft

- Attempts to evade enforcement after serious violations
7. Child Safety Review Standards
Content involving children or young people may receive stricter review.
Playflick may consider:
- Whether a child is sexualised, exploited, endangered, humiliated, or exposed to risk
- Whether the content reveals a child’s private information
- Whether the content invites unsafe contact with a child
- Whether the content involves grooming, coercion, or manipulation
- Whether the child appears in a private, vulnerable, or unsafe setting
- Whether the content encourages dangerous behaviour
- Whether the content is monetised in a harmful or exploitative way
Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate removal, account termination, evidence preservation, and reporting where appropriate or required.
8. Violence and Harm Review Standards
Playflick may review violent, dangerous, or harmful content based on context and risk.
Playflick may consider whether content:
- Shows graphic injury or death
- Glorifies violence
- Encourages attacks or abuse
- Provides instructions for serious harm
- Promotes dangerous challenges
- Shows weapons in a threatening or instructional way
- Documents real events with public-interest context
- Includes warnings or educational framing
Content may be removed, age-restricted, labelled, or reduced in visibility depending on severity and context.
9. Hate, Harassment, and Abuse Review Standards
Playflick may review content that targets people or groups with abuse, harassment, hate, threats, or humiliation.

10. Sexual Content Review Standards

- Whether all people shown are adults

- Whether the content is educational, artistic, fictional, or exploitative
- Whether the content involves minors or appears to involve minors
- Whether the content is non-consensual, intimate, coercive, or abusive
- Whether the content is used for harassment, blackmail, or humiliation
Content involving sexual exploitation, minors, or non-consensual intimate material is not allowed.
11. Misinformation and Deception Review Standards
Playflick may restrict or remove content that materially misleads users in ways that create real-world harm.
Playflick may consider whether content:
- Creates public safety risks
- Promotes scams or fraud
- Impersonates officials, creators, businesses, or Playflick
- Uses fake evidence or manipulated media deceptively

- Uses AI-generated content without disclosure where users may be misled
- Promotes fake giveaways, fake investments, or fake support services
12. Copyright and Rights Review Standards
Playflick may review content for copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, impersonation, or other rights concerns.
Playflick may consider:
- Whether a formal complaint was received
- Whether the uploader appears to own or have rights to the content
- Whether the content uses third-party music, clips, images, logos, or performances
- Whether the use is transformative, commentary, parody, or review
- Whether the content is monetised or sold
- Whether the account repeatedly uploads infringing content

13. Spam and Platform Manipulation Review Standards
Playflick may review activity that appears designed to manipulate views, search, rankings, recommendations, revenue, ads, comments, or reports.
Playflick may consider:
- Fake views
- Fake likes
- Fake comments
- Fake subscribers
- Bot activity
- Duplicate uploads
- Keyword stuffing
- Misleading thumbnails
- Mass account creation
- Fake reports or coordinated reporting abuse
- Invalid traffic affecting monetisation or advertising
14. Paid Content and Monetisation Review Standards
Monetised, paid, sponsored, or advertised content may be held to stricter standards because it involves money, advertisers, buyers, subscribers, creators, and payment systems.
Playflick may consider:
- Whether paid content is accurately described
- Whether the creator owns or has rights to sell the content
- Whether buyers are misled
- Whether refunds or chargebacks indicate abuse
- Whether the content is advertiser suitable
- Whether sponsorships or affiliate links are disclosed
- Whether earnings involve fake engagement or invalid traffic
15. Livestream Review Standards
Livestreams may be reviewed more urgently because live content can create immediate safety, copyright, privacy, or legal risks.
Playflick may consider:
- Whether immediate harm may occur
- Whether private information is being revealed live
- Whether minors are at risk
- Whether illegal or violent activity is shown
- Whether copyrighted content is being streamed without permission
- Whether live chat is being used for abuse, grooming, scams, or spam
- Whether the stream should be stopped, removed, restricted, or reviewed after broadcast
16. Public Interest, Documentary, Educational, and News Context
Playflick may consider public-interest, documentary, educational, journalistic, artistic, scientific, historical, or commentary context when reviewing content.
However, public-interest context does not allow:
- Child exploitation
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Credible threats
- Instructions for serious harm
- Fraud or scams
- Needless graphic shock content
- Illegal distribution of copyrighted material
- Content that creates serious and unjustified safety risks
17. Repeat Violations
Playflick may take stronger action against accounts that repeatedly violate policies, even if each individual violation is not severe on its own.
Repeat violations may lead to:
- Warnings
- Temporary restrictions
- Upload limits
- Livestreaming restrictions
- Demonetisation
- Reduced visibility
- Account suspension
- Account termination
18. Account-Level Review
Playflick may review an account’s overall behaviour, not only one piece of content.
Account-level signals may include:
- Policy history
- Copyright history
- Spam history
- Fake engagement signals
- Payment or refund abuse
- Creator verification issues
- Security or account compromise concerns
- Attempts to evade previous enforcement
19. Automated and Human Review
Playflick may use automated systems, manual review, user reports, trusted signals, security tools, rights-holder notices, payment-provider information, and other methods to help identify potential violations.
Automated systems may make mistakes. Human review may also be limited by available information, context, language, technical data, or reporting quality.
Users may request review of certain decisions under our Appeals Policy where available.
20. Reduced Visibility Standards
Playflick may reduce visibility where content is not removed but is unsuitable for broad recommendation, search prominence, trending, advertising, or younger audiences.
Reduced visibility may apply to:
- Borderline harmful content

22. Appeals
If your content, account, monetisation, ad, livestream, or feature access was restricted and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy.
Appeals should include:

- Your username or channel name
- The affected content or account URL
- The decision you are appealing
- Why you believe the decision was incorrect
- Any helpful context, permissions, licences, timestamps, or supporting evidence

24. Privacy and Data Retention
Playflick may process and retain moderation records, reports, appeals, enforcement decisions, safety signals, account history, copyright notices, payment signals, security data, and related communications.
These records may be retained for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, rights disputes, account security, moderation quality, appeals, and platform integrity.
