This AI-Generated Content Policy explains how Playflick™ Media .ltd handles artificial intelligence, synthetic media, AI-generated videos, AI voices, deepfakes, AI images, automated content, synthetic performances, AI-assisted editing, and misleading manipulated media on Playflick.com.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Video Upload Policy, User Generated Content Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Trademark Policy, Impersonation Policy, Moderation Policy, Advertising Policy, Creator Monetisation Terms, Sponsored Content & Affiliate Disclosure Policy, and Online Safety Policy.

2. What Counts as AI-Generated Content?

AI-generated content means content created, altered, enhanced, translated, edited, cloned, generated, or assisted by artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, synthetic media tools, voice cloning tools, image generators, video generators, text generators, or similar technologies.

This may include:

  • AI-generated videos
  • AI-generated shorts
  • AI-generated images or thumbnails
  • AI-generated music or sound effects
  • AI voiceovers
  • Voice cloning
  • Face swapping
  • Deepfakes
  • AI-generated actors or characters
  • AI-generated scripts
  • AI-generated subtitles or translations
  • AI-assisted editing
  • AI-enhanced footage
  • AI-generated comments, descriptions, tags, or metadata
  • Automated uploads or mass-generated content

3. AI Content Is Allowed Only When Lawful and Safe

Playflick may allow AI-generated or AI-assisted content where it is lawful, safe, respectful, properly labelled where needed, and compliant with all Playflick policies.

AI content must not:

  • Mislead users in a harmful way
  • Impersonate real people without permission
  • Use someone’s voice, image, likeness, or identity deceptively
  • Violate copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or personal rights
  • Create fake evidence, fake news, fake emergency footage, or fake official statements
  • Promote scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or deception
  • Exploit, sexualise, or endanger children
  • Create non-consensual intimate content
  • Harass, threaten, shame, or defame people
  • Evade moderation or platform enforcement

4. Disclosure Requirement

Creators should clearly disclose AI-generated or materially altered content where viewers may reasonably believe the content is real, authentic, recorded, or created without AI.

Disclosure is especially important where AI is used to create or alter:

  • A real person’s face
  • A real person’s voice
  • News-like footage
  • Political or public-interest content
  • Medical, legal, financial, or safety-related content
  • Realistic scenes of violence, crime, disaster, emergency, or public panic
  • Celebrity, public figure, creator, brand, or organisation appearances
  • Advertisements, endorsements, reviews, or sponsored content

Disclosures should be clear, easy to notice, and placed in the title, description, video, spoken audio, on-screen text, or other suitable location.

5. Examples of Clear AI Disclosures

Depending on the content, clear disclosures may include:

  • “This video includes AI-generated content.”
  • “This voiceover was generated using AI.”
  • “This image is AI-generated.”
  • “This scene is a fictional AI recreation.”
  • “This video includes synthetic media.”
  • “This is an AI parody and not an official statement.”
  • “This content uses AI-assisted editing.”

Disclosures must not be hidden, misleading, or contradicted by the rest of the content.

6. Deepfakes and Synthetic Identity

Deepfakes and synthetic identity content may be restricted or removed where they mislead, harm, impersonate, exploit, defame, harass, or violate rights.

You must not create, upload, or share AI content that:

  • Falsely shows a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do
  • Impersonates a creator, celebrity, public figure, private person, brand, or Playflick
  • Uses a person’s face, body, voice, name, or likeness without permission in a deceptive or harmful way
  • Creates fake sexual, intimate, humiliating, abusive, or criminal content involving a real person
  • Creates fake evidence of crime, misconduct, illness, death, disaster, or emergency
  • Misleads users about public safety, elections, legal rights, financial decisions, or health decisions

7. AI Content Involving Children

Playflick has zero tolerance for AI content that sexualises, exploits, harms, or endangers children.

You must not create, upload, share, request, or promote AI-generated content that:

  • Sexualises minors
  • Creates synthetic child sexual abuse material
  • Depicts children in sexual, exploitative, abusive, or fetishised situations
  • Uses a real child’s image, likeness, or voice in a harmful or deceptive way
  • Encourages grooming or unsafe contact with children
  • Creates fake humiliating, abusive, or compromising content involving children
  • Reveals or fabricates private information about children

Serious child-safety violations may result in immediate removal, account termination, evidence preservation, and reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate or required.

8. Non-Consensual Intimate AI Content

Playflick does not allow non-consensual intimate content, including AI-generated or AI-manipulated intimate images, videos, voices, or simulations.

You must not create, upload, share, threaten to share, or link to AI content that:

  • Places a real person into sexual or intimate content without consent
  • Creates nude or sexual images of a real person without consent
  • Uses face swapping for sexual exploitation
  • Uses voice cloning for sexual harassment or coercion
  • Is used to shame, blackmail, threaten, extort, or abuse someone

9. Copyright, Music, Voice, and Likeness Rights

AI tools do not remove the need to respect rights.

Creators are responsible for ensuring they have all rights, permissions, licences, and consents needed for AI content.

This may include rights relating to:

  • Training or source materials where relevant
  • Generated images
  • Generated videos
  • Generated music
  • Generated voices
  • Real people’s likenesses
  • Brands and trademarks
  • Characters and fictional properties
  • Film, TV, game, music, or entertainment materials
  • Third-party AI tool terms

Playflick may remove AI content in response to copyright, trademark, privacy, impersonation, publicity, or other rights complaints.

10. AI-Generated Music and Audio

AI-generated music, sound effects, voiceovers, and audio must comply with Playflick policies and applicable law.

You must not upload AI audio that:

  • Copies protected songs, recordings, or performances without permission
  • Clones a real person’s voice without permission in a deceptive or harmful way
  • Impersonates an artist, public figure, creator, or brand
  • Creates fake endorsements or fake statements
  • Uses music or voices in a way that violates rights or platform rules

11. AI-Generated News, Documentary, and Public Interest Content

AI-generated or AI-manipulated content about news, public events, politics, disasters, crime, courts, health, finance, safety, or public-interest matters must not mislead users.

Creators should clearly label synthetic recreations, simulations, fictionalised scenes, or AI-generated visuals involving public-interest subjects.

Playflick may restrict or remove AI content that could create public confusion, panic, reputational harm, election interference, fraud, or safety risk.

12. AI in Advertising and Sponsored Content

Ads, sponsored videos, endorsements, affiliate promotions, product reviews, and paid content that use AI must follow Playflick’s Advertising Policy and Sponsored Content & Affiliate Disclosure Policy.

AI-generated ads must not:

  • Create fake testimonials
  • Use fake endorsements from real people without permission
  • Create fake before-and-after results
  • Misrepresent product performance
  • Use synthetic people to hide commercial intent
  • Promote scams, fraud, malware, or unsafe products
  • Target children unfairly or deceptively

13. AI and Monetisation

AI-generated content may be subject to monetisation review.

Playflick may disable monetisation, withhold earnings, reverse balances, or restrict paid features where AI content:

  • Violates Playflick policies
  • Infringes copyright or other rights
  • Misleads buyers, subscribers, viewers, or advertisers
  • Uses fake engagement or automated traffic
  • Contains undisclosed synthetic endorsements
  • Creates legal, safety, payment, refund, or reputational risk
  • Is mass-generated spam or low-quality repetitive content

AI-generated content does not automatically qualify for creator monetisation.

14. AI Spam and Mass-Generated Content

Playflick may restrict or remove AI-generated content used for spam, manipulation, or low-quality mass uploads.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • Mass uploading repetitive AI videos
  • Using AI to generate misleading thumbnails at scale
  • Using AI comments or bots to manipulate engagement
  • Using AI-generated scripts to flood the platform with low-value content
  • Using AI to evade content removals or policy enforcement
  • Using AI to create fake accounts, fake reviews, fake reports, or fake engagement

15. AI Tools and Third-Party Services

Creators who use third-party AI tools are responsible for understanding and following those tools’ terms, licences, privacy rules, and usage restrictions.

Playflick is not responsible for third-party AI tools, training data, outputs, claims, licences, availability, security, privacy practices, or decisions.

If an AI tool gives you output, that does not automatically mean you have the right to upload, sell, monetise, or distribute that output on Playflick.

16. Labelling, Metadata, and Search

Playflick may use AI disclosures, labels, tags, metadata, user reports, moderation signals, or automated systems to classify, restrict, recommend, or reduce visibility of AI-generated content.

Creators must not use metadata to hide AI-generated content where disclosure is needed.

Misleading metadata may result in reduced visibility, removal, demonetisation, or account action.

17. Reports About AI-Generated Content

Users may report AI-generated content that appears misleading, harmful, infringing, impersonating, exploitative, unsafe, undisclosed, or abusive.

18. Enforcement

Playflick may take action where AI-generated or AI-assisted content breaches this policy or other Playflick rules.

Enforcement may include:

  • Adding labels or warnings
  • Requesting disclosure changes
  • Age-restricting content
  • Reducing visibility
  • Removing content
  • Disabling comments
  • Disabling monetisation
  • Withholding or reversing earnings
  • Rejecting ads or paid promotions
  • Restricting uploads
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Reporting serious safety or legal issues where appropriate or required

19. Appeals

If your AI-generated or AI-assisted content was labelled, restricted, demonetised, removed, or otherwise moderated and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy.
