This Video Upload Policy explains the rules for uploading videos, shorts, trailers, movies, livestream recordings, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, categories, and related media to Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Playflick is a video discovery and creator platform for independent entertainment, short films, trailers, creators, and community videos. We encourage original, lawful, safe, and respectful content.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Repeat Infringer Policy, Child Safety Policy, Online Safety Policy, Age Restriction Policy, Creator Code of Conduct, Paid Content Terms, Creator Monetisation Terms, Livestreaming Policy, and Moderation Policy.

Uploading may be available only to eligible Playflick users and creators.

Playflick may restrict upload access based on:

  • Account status
  • Account age
  • Email verification
  • Age requirements
  • Creator verification
  • Policy history
  • Copyright or safety violations
  • Storage limits
  • Upload limits
  • Payment or subscription status where relevant
  • Fraud, spam, or security risk

Playflick may approve, restrict, suspend, or remove upload access at any time where needed to protect the platform, users, creators, rights holders, advertisers, or legal compliance.


3. Upload Only Content You Have Rights To Use

You must only upload content that you own, created, licensed, or have permission to use.

Before uploading, make sure you have rights for:

  • Video footage
  • Audio and music
  • Sound recordings
  • Voiceovers
  • Film clips
  • TV clips
  • Trailers
  • Images and artwork
  • Posters
  • Logos
  • Thumbnails
  • Fonts
  • Scripts
  • Performances
  • Third-party materials

Do not upload content just because it is available online. Online availability does not mean you have permission to upload, publish, sell, stream, monetise, or share it.


4. Prohibited Uploads

You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, unsafe, infringing, or prohibited by Playflick policies.

Prohibited uploads include:

  • Child sexual abuse material
  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Child exploitation or grooming content
  • Pirated movies, TV shows, sports broadcasts, concerts, or streaming-platform content
  • Copyrighted music, clips, trailers, or footage without permission
  • Non-consensual intimate content
  • Terrorist or violent extremist content
  • Credible threats of violence
  • Content encouraging suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges
  • Graphic violence intended to shock or glorify harm
  • Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or targeted abuse
  • Scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or deceptive schemes
  • Private information shared without permission
  • Illegal goods, services, or criminal instructions
  • Counterfeit goods or misleading brand use
  • Spam, duplicate uploads, or bot-generated content used to manipulate the platform

5. Upload Metadata Rules

Titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, captions, categories, and other metadata must accurately represent the video.

You must not use metadata to:

  • Mislead viewers
  • Hide prohibited content
  • Trick users into clicking
  • Impersonate another creator, brand, business, or organisation
  • Use unrelated trending topics deceptively
  • Promote scams or fraud
  • Sexualise minors
  • Evade moderation or age restrictions
  • Falsely claim official status, sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement
  • Use copyrighted or trademarked material without permission

Misleading metadata may result in removal, reduced visibility, age restriction, demonetisation, or account action.


6. Thumbnails

Thumbnails must be accurate, lawful, and appropriate.

You must not use thumbnails that:

  • Show sexualised minors
  • Contain explicit sexual imagery
  • Use graphic gore or shock imagery deceptively
  • Misrepresent the video
  • Use another creator’s or brand’s image deceptively
  • Contain private information
  • Promote scams, malware, or phishing
  • Use copyrighted images or artwork without permission
  • Use logos or trademarks in a misleading way

7. Uploads Involving Children

Uploads involving children must be lawful, respectful, appropriate, and safe.

You must not upload content that:

  • Sexualises children
  • Exploits, humiliates, abuses, or endangers children
  • Shows children in private or vulnerable situations without appropriate consent
  • Reveals private information about children
  • Encourages children to perform dangerous acts
  • Invites unsafe contact with children
  • Uses children for scams, manipulation, or misleading monetisation

Playflick may remove or restrict content involving children where there is a safety, privacy, consent, exploitation, or legal concern.


8. Uploads Involving Other People

If your video includes other people, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate permission, consent, releases, or lawful basis where required.

Be especially careful with:

  • Private homes or private spaces
  • Schools
  • Workplaces
  • Medical settings
  • Children
  • Vulnerable people
  • Victims of accidents, crime, or distress
  • Private conversations
  • Hidden-camera or surveillance footage

Content may be removed where it violates privacy, consent, safety, or legal rules.


9. Technical Upload Requirements

Playflick may set technical requirements for uploads.

Requirements may include limits or rules relating to:

  • File format
  • File size
  • Video length
  • Resolution
  • Aspect ratio
  • Audio format
  • Thumbnail format
  • Encoding and conversion
  • Upload speed
  • Storage availability
  • Account upload limits
  • Daily, weekly, or monthly upload limits

Playflick may fail, reject, convert, compress, remove, or delay uploads if technical requirements are not met or if technical systems are unavailable.


10. Video Processing and Conversion

Uploaded videos may be processed, converted, compressed, transcoded, scanned, reviewed, or optimised for playback, storage, moderation, accessibility, quality, or technical compatibility.

Processing may take time and may fail due to:

  • Unsupported formats
  • Corrupted files
  • Large files
  • Server issues
  • Encoding errors
  • Storage issues
  • Internet interruptions
  • Third-party service issues
  • Policy or safety checks

Playflick does not guarantee that every uploaded video will process successfully or remain available.


11. Storage and Backups

Playflick may store uploaded content on its servers or with third-party storage, hosting, cloud, CDN, or processing providers.

You should keep your own backup copies of important videos and files.

Playflick does not guarantee permanent storage, preservation, recovery, or backup of uploaded content.


12. Public, Private, Unlisted, Scheduled, and Restricted Uploads

Playflick may offer visibility settings such as public, private, unlisted, scheduled, subscriber-only, age-restricted, or paid access where available.

Visibility settings do not override Playflick policies.

Private, unlisted, scheduled, subscriber-only, or paid content may still be reviewed, restricted, removed, demonetised, or disclosed where required for safety, copyright, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or policy enforcement.


13. Paid and Monetised Uploads

Paid, rented, subscriber-only, monetised, promoted, or ad-supported uploads may be subject to stricter review.

You must not monetise uploads that:

  • You do not own or have permission to monetise
  • Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Mislead buyers or subscribers
  • Contain prohibited content
  • Promote scams or fraud
  • Exploit children or vulnerable people
  • Use fake engagement or invalid traffic
  • Create payment, refund, chargeback, legal, or safety risk

Playflick may remove paid content, issue refunds, withhold earnings, reverse balances, or disable monetisation where uploads breach our rules.


14. Imported or Embedded Videos

If Playflick allows importing or embedding videos from third-party services, you are responsible for ensuring that the imported or embedded content complies with Playflick policies and applicable law.

You must not import, embed, or promote content that:

  • You do not have rights to use
  • Violates third-party platform rules
  • Infringes copyright or trademarks
  • Contains prohibited or unsafe material
  • Misleads users
  • Bypasses paywalls, subscriptions, or access controls unlawfully

15. Duplicate, Spam, and Mass Uploads

Upload systems must not be abused.

Playflick may restrict or remove:

  • Duplicate uploads
  • Mass spam uploads
  • Keyword-stuffed videos
  • Low-quality repeated content used to manipulate traffic
  • Bot-generated uploads
  • Uploads used to flood search, recommendations, or categories
  • Uploads created mainly to redirect users to external scams or websites

16. Upload Review and Moderation

Playflick may review uploaded content before or after publication.

Review may involve:

  • Manual review
  • Automated systems
  • User reports
  • Rights-holder complaints
  • Safety checks
  • Spam checks
  • Fraud checks
  • Copyright or duplicate-content signals
  • Payment and monetisation checks

Playflick may remove, restrict, age-limit, demonetise, disable comments, block uploads, or suspend accounts where uploaded content breaches our rules.


17. Upload Limits and Feature Restrictions

Playflick may apply upload limits, storage limits, processing limits, file size limits, account-level limits, or feature restrictions.

Limits may depend on:

18. Removal of Uploaded Content

20. Creator Responsibility for Uploaded Content

You agree that you are responsible for any claims, complaints, disputes, losses, refunds, chargebacks, legal costs, or enforcement actions caused by your uploaded content or your use of Playflick upload tools.


21. No Guarantee of Upload Availability

Playflick does not guarantee that uploads will always be available, playable, searchable, monetisable, recommended, preserved, backed up, or error-free.

Uploads may be affected by technical issues, processing errors, moderation, legal complaints, storage limits, account issues, copyright disputes, payment issues, or platform changes.


22. Changes to This Video Upload Policy

We may update this Video Upload Policy from time to time.

Changes may reflect new upload tools, storage systems, video processing features, safety risks, moderation tools, copyright processes, monetisation rules, legal requirements, or platform updates.
