This User Generated Content Policy explains the rules that apply to content created, uploaded, posted, streamed, submitted, shared, advertised, monetised, or otherwise made available by users on Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Playflick is a video discovery and creator platform for independent entertainment, short films, trailers, creators, and community videos. Because much of the platform may include user-generated content, users are responsible for making sure their content is lawful, safe, respectful, accurate, and compliant with Playflick policies.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Video Upload Policy, Online Safety Policy, Child Safety Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Repeat Infringer Policy, Trademark Policy, Impersonation Policy, Moderation Policy, Appeals Policy, Paid Content Terms, Creator Monetisation Terms, Advertising Policy, Livestreaming Policy, and Privacy Policy.

2. What Is User Generated Content?

User generated content means any content or material submitted, uploaded, posted, streamed, displayed, transmitted, linked, advertised, monetised, or shared by users, creators, advertisers, account holders, or third parties on Playflick.

This may include:

• Videos
• Shorts
• Movies
• Trailers
• Livestreams
• Livestream recordings
• Thumbnails
• Titles
• Descriptions
• Tags
• Categories
• Comments and replies
• Profile names and bios
• Channel names and channel descriptions
• Profile images and banners
• Playlists
• Links
• Advertisements and promoted content
• Paid content
• Subscriber-only content
• Creator membership content
• API or developer submissions where available
• Any other material submitted through Playflick features

3. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for all user generated content you submit, upload, post, stream, advertise, sell, monetise, link to, or share on Playflick.

You must make sure that your content:

• Complies with all Playflick policies
• Complies with applicable law
• Does not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights
• Does not contain illegal, harmful, exploitative, abusive, or unsafe material
• Does not mislead, scam, impersonate, or deceive users
• Does not endanger children or vulnerable users
• Does not contain malware, phishing, spam, or technical abuse
• Is accurately described by its title, thumbnail, tags, category, and description

You are responsible for any claims, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, complaints, losses, or enforcement actions caused by your user generated content.

4. Rights You Must Have

Before submitting user generated content, you must have all rights, permissions, licences, consents, and approvals required to use it on Playflick.

This includes rights for:

• Video footage
• Audio and music
• Sound recordings
• Images and artwork
• Logos and trademarks
• Film clips, TV clips, trailers, or scenes
• Scripts, performances, and voiceovers
• Thumbnails and posters
• People shown or recorded in the content, where consent is required
• Locations, private spaces, or events where permission is required
• Any third-party materials included in the content

Do not upload or share content simply because it is available online. Online availability does not mean you have the right to use, publish, sell, stream, advertise, or monetise it.

5. Licence You Grant to Playflick

When you submit user generated content to Playflick, you allow Playflick to host, store, process, display, stream, transmit, reproduce, adapt for technical purposes, distribute, promote, moderate, review, and make that content available through Playflick features.

This licence is needed so Playflick can operate the platform, show your content to users, process video files, create thumbnails or previews, enable playback, support search and discovery, provide embeds where available, apply moderation, support monetisation where available, and maintain platform services.

You remain responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights required to grant this licence.

6. Content Ownership

You do not lose ownership of content you own simply by uploading it to Playflick.

However, by uploading content, you grant Playflick the rights needed to operate, display, process, moderate, distribute, promote, and provide access to that content through the platform.

If you upload content that belongs to someone else without permission, Playflick may remove it and take account action.

7. Prohibited User Generated Content

You must not submit user generated content that is illegal, harmful, unsafe, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, infringing, or prohibited by Playflick policies.

Prohibited content includes:

• Child sexual abuse material
• Child exploitation, grooming, or sexualisation of minors
• Terrorist or violent extremist content
• Credible threats of violence
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, or targeted abuse
• Hate speech or dehumanising abuse
• Graphic violence intended to shock or glorify harm
• Self-harm, suicide, eating disorder, or dangerous challenge encouragement
• Non-consensual intimate content
• Privacy violations or doxxing
• Copyright infringement or piracy
• Trademark misuse or impersonation
• Scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or deceptive schemes
• Illegal goods, services, or criminal instructions
• Spam, fake engagement, bots, or platform manipulation
• Content designed to evade moderation, restrictions, or enforcement

8. User Generated Content Involving Children

Content involving children must be lawful, appropriate, respectful, and safe.

You must not submit content that:

• Sexualises children
• Exploits children for views, money, sympathy, or engagement
• Shows children in unsafe, private, humiliating, or vulnerable situations without appropriate consent
• Reveals private information about children
• Encourages children to perform dangerous acts
• Invites unsafe contact with children
• Targets children with scams, manipulation, or inappropriate advertising

Playflick may remove, restrict, preserve, or report content involving children where there is a safety, privacy, exploitation, consent, or legal concern.

9. Comments and Community Content

Comments, replies, reactions, messages where available, profile text, and community interactions are user generated content and must follow Playflick policies.

You must not use community features for:

• Harassment or bullying
• Threats
• Hate speech
• Spam
• Scams or phishing
• Malware links
• Sexual comments directed at minors
• Sharing private information
• Fake engagement
• Coordinated abuse
• Impersonation

10. Paid and Monetised User Generated Content

Paid, rented, subscriber-only, monetised, sponsored, or ad-supported user generated content must follow all Playflick policies and may be subject to stricter review.

You must not monetise user generated content that:

• You do not own or have permission to monetise
• Infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights
• Misleads buyers, subscribers, viewers, or advertisers
• Promotes scams, fraud, or unsafe products
• Exploits children or vulnerable users
• Uses fake engagement or invalid traffic
• Contains prohibited or illegal content
• Creates legal, safety, payment, refund, chargeback, or reputational risk

Playflick may remove paid content, issue refunds or credits, disable monetisation, withhold earnings, reverse balances, or restrict accounts where monetised content breaches our rules.

11. Advertising and Sponsored User Content

Ads, sponsored videos, product placements, affiliate links, promotional content, and commercial posts are also user generated content where submitted by users, creators, advertisers, or third parties.

Such content must:

• Be honest and lawful
• Disclose sponsorships or paid promotions where required
• Not promote scams, malware, phishing, or illegal goods
• Not make harmful or false claims
• Not target children unfairly or unsafely
• Not infringe copyright, trademarks, or privacy rights
• Comply with Playflick’s Advertising Policy

12. Moderation of User Generated Content

Playflick may review, remove, restrict, age-limit, label, demonetise, disable, or otherwise moderate user generated content.

Moderation may happen before or after publication and may be based on:

• User reports
• Rights-holder complaints
• Safety reports
• Copyright notices
• Trademark complaints
• Impersonation reports
• Payment-provider signals
• Fraud or spam signals
• Automated systems
• Manual review
• Legal or regulator requests
• Playflick policy enforcement

13. Removal or Restriction of User Generated Content

Playflick may remove or restrict user generated content for reasons including:

• Policy violations
• Illegal content
• Child safety concerns
• Copyright or trademark complaints
• Privacy or impersonation complaints
• Safety reports
• Fraud, spam, or platform manipulation
• Payment or monetisation concerns
• Technical issues
• Storage or operational needs
• Account suspension or termination
• Legal or regulatory requirements

Playflick is not required to host or continue making available any user generated content.

14. Reporting User Generated Content

If you believe user generated content violates Playflick policies or applicable law, report it to Playflick.

• A clear explanation of the issue

15. Appeals

If your user generated content is removed, restricted, age-restricted, demonetised, or otherwise moderated and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may request a review under our Appeals Policy.

16. No Guarantee of Availability or Preservation

Playflick does not guarantee that user generated content will always be available, preserved, searchable, playable, monetisable, recommended, backed up, or error-free.

Content may be unavailable, removed, restricted, deleted, corrupted, or lost because of technical issues, moderation, account deletion, copyright complaints, legal requirements, storage limits, payment issues, user action, or platform changes.

You should keep your own backup copies of important content.

17. Public Visibility and Sharing

User generated content may be visible to other users or the public depending on your settings and platform features.

Public content may be copied, linked, embedded, indexed, cached, screenshotted, downloaded, or shared by others outside Playflick.

Playflick does not control third-party websites, search engines, browser caches, archives, user devices, or external sharing by other users.

18. Account Deletion and User Generated Content

If you delete your account, some user generated content may be removed, anonymised, restricted, or retained in limited form.

Some content or records may remain where needed for legal compliance, copyright disputes, safety investigations, payment records, fraud prevention, moderation records, backups, or protection of Playflick and others.

19. Changes to This User Generated Content Policy

We may update this User Generated Content Policy from time to time.

Changes may reflect new platform features, upload tools, moderation processes, legal requirements, safety risks, monetisation rules, advertising tools, privacy practices, or operational needs.

Your continued use of Playflick after changes become effective means you agree to the updated policy.
