Playflick may need to verify your identity or authority before reviewing an appeal.

- Account ownership
- Account deletion or restoration
- Creator monetisation
- Payouts or payment records
- Paid content
- Advertising accounts
- Copyright or trademark rights
- Impersonation reports
- Child safety or guardian requests
- Privacy rights requests
- Legal or law enforcement matters
If we cannot verify your identity or authority, we may refuse, delay, or limit the appeal.
7. Copyright Appeals and Counter-Notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright complaint, you may need to submit a copyright counter-notice rather than a general appeal.
Copyright counter-notices should follow our Copyright & Takedown Policy and DMCA & Copyright Agent Notice.
Playflick may forward counter-notices or relevant information to the original complainant where appropriate or legally required.
8. Trademark and Impersonation Appeals
If your username, channel name, profile, content, or account was restricted because of trademark misuse or impersonation, your appeal should include evidence showing that your use is lawful, authorised, not misleading, or clearly labelled as commentary, parody, fan content, or another permitted use.
Supporting evidence may include:
- Brand authorisation
- Business documents
- Proof of identity
- Trademark ownership or licence
- Context showing the account is not misleading
- Clear disclaimers showing the account is unofficial, parody, commentary, or fan content
9. Monetisation and Payment Appeals
If your monetisation, payout, wallet, paid content, subscription, advertising balance, or earnings were restricted, your appeal should include relevant payment or creator information.
Playflick may restrict, withhold, reverse, or delay payments where there are concerns involving:
- Copyright infringement
- Fake views or artificial engagement
- Invalid traffic
- Fraud
- Chargebacks
- Refund abuse
- Payment-provider restrictions
- Tax or verification issues
- Policy violations
- Legal or regulatory risks
Some payment-related decisions may remain restricted until reviews, legal checks, payment-provider checks, or compliance requirements are complete.
10. Advertising Appeals
If an ad, promoted video, campaign, or advertiser account was rejected or restricted, your appeal should explain why the ad complies with Playflick’s Advertising Policy and applicable law.
Your appeal may include:
- The ad or campaign ID, if available
- The ad landing page URL
- Proof of rights to use creative materials
- Evidence supporting claims made in the ad
- Licences, approvals, or required disclosures
- Changes made to address the issue
11. Safety Appeals
If your content or account was restricted for safety reasons, your appeal should provide context showing why the content does not violate Playflick rules.
Safety-related decisions may involve:
- Child safety
- Harassment
- Threats
- Hate speech
- Violence
- Self-harm
- Dangerous challenges
- Privacy violations
- Scams or fraud
- Illegal content
Playflick may uphold restrictions where we believe user safety, child safety, legal compliance, or platform integrity requires it.
12. What Happens After You Appeal?
After receiving an appeal, Playflick may:
- Review the appeal
- Request more information
- Review the original decision
- Review supporting evidence
- Restore content or access
- Partially restore content or access
- Uphold the original decision
- Apply a different restriction
- Escalate the issue for legal, safety, copyright, payment, or security review
- Take further enforcement action if the appeal reveals additional violations
13. Possible Appeal Outcomes
Appeal outcomes may include:
- Accepted: The original decision is reversed or corrected.
- Partially accepted: Some restrictions are removed, but others remain.
- Rejected: The original decision remains in place.
- Escalated: More review is needed before a final decision can be made.
- Closed: The appeal is incomplete, abusive, repetitive, fraudulent, or not eligible for review.
Playflick may not always provide detailed explanations where doing so could create safety, privacy, legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention risks.
14. Appeal Review Times
We aim to review appeals within a reasonable time.
Review times may vary depending on:
- The complexity of the issue
- The amount of evidence provided
- Whether identity verification is required
- Whether legal review is required
- Whether safety or child-protection issues are involved
- Whether copyright, trademark, or payment issues are involved
- Whether third-party providers, rights holders, or authorities are involved
15. Repeated Appeals
You should submit one clear appeal with all relevant information.
Repeated, duplicate, abusive, threatening, or bad-faith appeals may be ignored, limited, or treated as misuse of Playflick’s support and reporting systems.
If new evidence becomes available, you may submit it clearly and explain why it was not included before.
16. False or Misleading Appeals
You must not submit false, misleading, forged, abusive, fraudulent, or bad-faith appeals.
Examples of abuse include:
- Submitting fake licences or permissions
- Submitting false identity documents
- Misrepresenting ownership of content
- Threatening Playflick staff or users
- Using appeals to harass reporters or complainants
- Making repeated appeals with no new information
- Attempting to evade enforcement through false claims
Abuse of the appeal process may result in account restrictions, suspension, termination, or legal action where appropriate.
17. No Guarantee of Restoration
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that content, accounts, monetisation, payments, ads, livestreaming, usernames, or features will be restored.
Playflick may uphold decisions where we believe the original action was correct, lawful, required, proportionate, or necessary to protect users, rights holders, advertisers, payment systems, Playflick, or third parties.
18. Changes to This Appeals Policy
We may update this Appeals Policy from time to time.
Changes may reflect new platform features, moderation tools, legal requirements, safety processes, payment rules, advertising systems, copyright procedures, or operational needs.
Your continued use of Playflick after changes become effective means you agree to the updated policy.
