This Livestreaming Policy explains the rules for live video, live chat, live events, real-time broadcasts, premieres, and livestream-related features on Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Livestreaming can create real-time safety, copyright, privacy, and legal risks. Because of this, Playflick may apply stricter rules to live content than to ordinary uploaded videos.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Online Safety Policy, Child Safety Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Privacy Policy, Creator Monetisation Terms, Advertising Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Who Can Livestream?

Livestreaming may be available only to eligible users or creators.

Playflick may require users to meet certain requirements before livestreaming access is enabled, including:

  • Minimum account age
  • Verified email address
  • Account in good standing
  • No serious policy violations
  • No recent copyright strikes or takedown issues
  • No recent safety or abuse violations
  • Age requirement of 18 or over for certain live features
  • Identity, payment, or creator verification where required

Playflick may approve, deny, suspend, restrict, or remove livestreaming access at any time.


3. General Livestreaming Rules

Livestreams must follow all Playflick rules.

You must not use livestreaming to:

  • Break the law
  • Stream content you do not own or have permission to stream
  • Broadcast copyrighted movies, TV shows, sports, music, concerts, events, or streams without permission
  • Show child sexual abuse, child exploitation, grooming, or sexualisation of minors
  • Threaten, harass, bully, or abuse others
  • Promote terrorism, violent extremism, or real-world violence
  • Encourage suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges
  • Share private personal information without permission
  • Broadcast private spaces or private people without appropriate consent
  • Promote scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or illegal goods or services
  • Use fake engagement, bots, or manipulation
  • Evade bans, restrictions, or moderation

4. Real-Time Safety

Because livestreams happen in real time, Playflick may take immediate action if a livestream appears unsafe, illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, or high-risk.

Playflick may:

  • Interrupt or terminate a livestream
  • Disable live chat
  • Restrict viewing
  • Age-restrict the livestream
  • Remove the livestream recording
  • Disable monetisation
  • Suspend livestreaming access
  • Suspend or terminate the account
  • Preserve evidence where necessary
  • Report serious issues to relevant authorities where appropriate or required

5. Child Safety in Livestreams

Playflick has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse, grooming, exploitation, or content that endangers minors.

You must not livestream content that:

  • Sexualises minors
  • Shows minors in sexual, exploitative, abusive, or unsafe situations
  • Requests sexual content from minors
  • Encourages minors to share private information
  • Uses minors for scams, manipulation, or exploitative monetisation
  • Encourages dangerous behaviour by children
  • Humiliates, bullies, or harasses children
  • Shows children in private or vulnerable situations without appropriate consent

Serious child-safety concerns may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities or child-protection organisations.


6. Copyright and Livestreaming

You must have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for anything included in your livestream.

This includes:

  • Music
  • Background music
  • Sound recordings
  • Video clips
  • Movies
  • TV shows
  • Sports broadcasts
  • Concerts
  • Events
  • Games or match footage where rights are required
  • Artwork
  • Logos
  • Images
  • Third-party streams

You must not livestream pirated, leaked, unauthorised, pay-per-view, subscription-only, broadcast, cinema, television, streaming-platform, or third-party content without permission.

Copyright complaints may result in removal, takedown, demonetisation, livestream restriction, repeat infringer enforcement, or account termination.


7. Privacy and Consent

Livestreamers must respect privacy and consent.

You must not livestream:

  • People in private spaces without appropriate consent
  • Private conversations without permission
  • Private homes, schools, workplaces, medical settings, or sensitive locations without permission
  • Identity documents, bank details, passwords, addresses, or private contact details
  • Children’s private information
  • Victims of accidents, violence, or distress in an exploitative way

If someone asks not to be filmed or streamed, you should respect their request where reasonably possible and lawful.


8. Dangerous, Violent, or Distressing Livestreams

Playflick may remove or restrict livestreams involving real-world danger, violence, injury, distress, or unlawful activity.

Prohibited or restricted livestreams include:

  • Real-time violence intended to shock or glorify harm
  • Assaults or fights shared for entertainment
  • Threats of violence
  • Animal cruelty
  • Dangerous stunts
  • Dangerous challenges
  • Self-harm or suicide attempts
  • Instructions for causing serious harm
  • Criminal activity
  • Reckless driving or dangerous behaviour

Newsworthy, educational, or documentary livestreams may be reviewed in context, but Playflick may still restrict them where safety risks are high.


9. Live Chat Rules

If live chat is available, users must follow Playflick’s community rules.

Live chat must not be used for:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Threats
  • Hate speech
  • Spam
  • Scams
  • Phishing links
  • Malware links
  • Sexual comments directed at minors
  • Doxxing or private information sharing
  • Encouraging dangerous behaviour
  • Coordinated abuse
  • Fake engagement or bot activity

Playflick may remove live chat messages, disable live chat, restrict users, or suspend accounts where live chat is abused.


10. Livestream Monetisation

If livestream monetisation is available, creators must use it responsibly and honestly.

You must not monetise livestreams that:

  • Use copyrighted content without permission
  • Promote scams or fraud
  • Exploit children or vulnerable users
  • Encourage fake donations, fake urgency, or misleading claims
  • Offer prohibited goods, services, or content
  • Use fake views, bots, or artificial engagement
  • Break Playflick policies

Playflick may disable monetisation, withhold earnings, reverse payments, issue refunds, or suspend accounts where livestream monetisation is abused.


11. Sponsored Livestreams and Promotions

Sponsored livestreams, product placements, affiliate links, paid promotions, and brand deals must be disclosed clearly where required.

Sponsored livestreams must not promote:

  • Scams or fraudulent offers
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Unsafe health or financial claims
  • Malware or phishing
  • Adult sexual services
  • Products or services inappropriate for children where targeted at children
  • Misleading subscriptions or hidden charges

Sponsored content must also follow our Advertising Policy.


12. Recording and Replay of Livestreams

Playflick may allow livestreams to be saved, replayed, archived, clipped, embedded, or shared after the live event.

Recorded livestreams must still follow all Playflick policies.

Playflick may remove, restrict, demonetise, age-restrict, or disable replay access to recorded livestreams that breach our rules.


13. Emergency Situations

If a livestream shows someone in immediate danger, contact emergency services or local law enforcement immediately.

In the United Kingdom, call 999 in an emergency.

Playflick is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee immediate review of livestream reports.


14. Reporting Livestreams

If you see a livestream that appears harmful, illegal, infringing, abusive, unsafe, or in breach of Playflick rules, report it.

  • A description of the issue
  • The time the issue happened, if known
  • Screenshots or supporting evidence, if safe and appropriate
  • Whether someone appears to be in immediate danger

Do not download, copy, share, or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material. Report it immediately.


15. Enforcement

If a livestream breaches this policy, Playflick may take action.

Enforcement may include:

  • Warning the creator
  • Stopping the livestream
  • Removing the livestream recording
  • Restricting visibility
  • Age-restricting the livestream
  • Disabling live chat
  • Removing live chat messages
  • Disabling monetisation
  • Withholding or reversing earnings
  • Suspending livestream access
  • Suspending uploads
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Blocking new accounts
  • Preserving evidence
  • Reporting serious issues to relevant authorities where appropriate or required

16. Appeals

If your livestream, account, monetisation, or livestream access was restricted and you believe Playflick made a mistake, you may contact us to request a review.

17. No Guarantee of Livestream Availability

Playflick does not guarantee that livestreaming will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible, or suitable for your needs.

Livestreaming may be affected by:

  • Your internet connection
  • Your device
  • Your browser
  • Server load
  • Third-party live streaming providers
  • Technical issues
  • Moderation actions
  • Copyright restrictions
  • Legal requirements
  • Platform changes

18. Changes to This Livestreaming Policy

We may update this Livestreaming Policy from time to time.

Changes may reflect new livestreaming features, safety risks, moderation tools, copyright requirements, monetisation rules, legal obligations, or platform updates.

Your continued use of livestreaming features after changes become effective means you agree to the updated policy.
