This Creator Code of Conduct explains the behaviour, standards, and responsibilities expected from creators, uploaders, channel owners, livestreamers, advertisers, and community leaders on Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Playflick is a video discovery and creator platform for independent entertainment, short films, trailers, creators, and community videos. We want creators to have the freedom to express themselves while respecting the safety, rights, privacy, and dignity of others.

This Code of Conduct should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Online Safety Policy, Child Safety Policy, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Paid Content Terms, Creator Monetisation Terms, and Advertising Policy.

2. Purpose of This Code

Creators help shape the Playflick community. This Code of Conduct sets expectations for how creators should behave, upload content, interact with viewers, manage communities, and use platform features.

This Code is intended to:

Protect users and creators
Encourage original and responsible content
Reduce abuse, spam, scams, and harmful behaviour
Protect children and young people
Respect copyright and privacy
Support honest monetisation and advertising
Help Playflick grow as a safer creator platform

3. Be Honest and Transparent

Creators must be honest with viewers, subscribers, buyers, advertisers, and Playflick.

You must not:

Mislead viewers with false titles, thumbnails, tags, or descriptions
Claim content is yours when it is not
Hide sponsorships, paid promotions, or commercial relationships where disclosure is required
Misrepresent paid content, rentals, subscriptions, or creator benefits
Make false claims about products, services, income, health, finance, law, or opportunities
Impersonate another creator, brand, public figure, organisation, or Playflick staff member
Use fake testimonials, fake reviews, or fake endorsements

4. Upload Content You Have Rights To Use

Creators must upload only content they own, created, licensed, or have permission to use.

You are responsible for securing rights for:

Video footage
Music
Sound recordings
Background audio
Images
Artwork
Logos
Fonts
Clips
Trailers
Voiceovers
Performances
Scripts
Third-party materials

Do not upload full movies, TV shows, sports broadcasts, music videos, trailers, clips, or content copied from other platforms unless you have permission or a lawful basis to use it.

5. Respect Viewers and Other Creators

Playflick creators should treat others with respect.

You must not:

Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate others
Encourage your audience to harass another person
Target creators or viewers with abuse
Share private personal information without permission
Mock, humiliate, or exploit private individuals
Use hate speech or dehumanising language
Create content designed to provoke harassment, doxxing, or real-world harm

Criticism, review, commentary, and debate may be allowed, but it must not become targeted abuse, threats, harassment, or privacy invasion.

6. Protect Children and Young People

Creators must take child safety seriously.

You must not:

Upload child sexual abuse material
Sexualise minors
Exploit children for views, money, sympathy, or engagement
Encourage dangerous behaviour by children
Share private information about children
Harass, bully, or humiliate minors
Contact minors for sexual, exploitative, or unsafe purposes
Use minors in misleading, manipulative, or harmful monetised content

Content involving children must be lawful, respectful, appropriate, and safe. Playflick may remove or restrict content involving minors where there is a safety, privacy, exploitation, or legal concern.

7. Avoid Harmful or Dangerous Content

Creators must not encourage real-world harm.

You must not create or promote content that encourages:

Violence
Self-harm
Suicide
Eating disorders
Dangerous challenges
Illegal activity
Animal cruelty
Weapon misuse
Drug misuse
Harassment or doxxing

Educational, documentary, newsworthy, recovery, or awareness content may be allowed where it is clearly contextualised and does not provide harmful instructions or encouragement.

8. Do Not Scam or Exploit Your Audience

Creators must not use Playflick to mislead, scam, pressure, or exploit viewers.

Prohibited behaviour includes:

Fake giveaways
Fake charity appeals
Fake investment claims
Crypto scams
Phishing links
Pyramid schemes
Fake job offers
Misleading paid subscriptions
Hidden charges
Manipulative donation requests
Using fake urgency or fake scarcity to pressure users

9. Use Monetisation Responsibly

If you use Playflick monetisation, paid videos, subscriptions, memberships, donations, rentals, ads, or creator earnings, you must follow all monetisation rules.

You must not:

Monetise content you do not own or have permission to use
Use fake views, fake likes, fake comments, or fake subscribers
Use bots, click farms, or artificial traffic
Mislead users about paid content
Charge for content that violates Playflick rules
Use monetisation to promote scams or harmful content
Exploit children or vulnerable users for money
Abuse refunds, chargebacks, subscriptions, or creator payouts

Playflick may disable monetisation, withhold earnings, reverse payments, issue refunds, or terminate accounts where monetisation is abused.

10. Respect Advertisers and Sponsored Content Rules

If you publish sponsored content, paid promotions, product placements, affiliate links, or brand deals, you must be transparent and lawful.

You must:

Clearly disclose sponsorships and paid promotions where required
Make honest claims about products or services
Avoid promoting scams, unsafe products, or illegal services
Respect advertising and consumer protection rules
Not target children unfairly or unsafely
Not use fake endorsements or fake testimonials

11. Manage Your Community Responsibly

Creators may have influence over their audience and comment sections.

Where tools are available, creators should:

Moderate harmful comments
Discourage harassment and pile-ons
Report serious abuse
Block or restrict harmful users where appropriate
Avoid encouraging viewers to attack others
Keep paid communities honest and safe

Playflick may also moderate comments, restrict features, or take platform-level action where needed.

12. Do Not Manipulate Playflick

Creators must not manipulate Playflick systems.

Prohibited conduct includes:

Buying fake engagement
Using bots
Mass uploading spam
Creating fake accounts
Using misleading metadata
Evading bans or restrictions
Artificially increasing ad revenue
Manipulating analytics, rankings, recommendations, payouts, or campaign results

13. Be Careful With Sensitive Topics

Creators may discuss sensitive topics, but must do so responsibly.

Sensitive topics may include:

Health
Mental health
Finance
Legal issues
Politics
Public safety
Crime
Violence
War or conflict
Children and family issues

Content should not mislead viewers, encourage harm, exploit vulnerable people, or present dangerous claims as guaranteed facts.

14. Respect Privacy and Consent

Creators must respect the privacy and consent of others.

You must not upload or share:

Private recordings without permission
Private messages without permission
Home addresses
Private phone numbers
Private email addresses
Identity documents
Medical information
Financial information
Images or videos of people in private spaces without appropriate consent

Be especially careful when content includes children, vulnerable people, private individuals, or sensitive situations.

15. Cooperate With Playflick Reviews

Playflick may ask creators for information, documents, rights proof, identity verification, payment details, tax information, or explanations where needed.

Creators should cooperate honestly and promptly.

Failure to cooperate may result in content removal, monetisation restriction, payout delay, account suspension, or termination.

16. Enforcement

If a creator breaches this Code of Conduct, Playflick may take action.

Actions may include:

Content removal
Content restriction
Reduced visibility
Age restriction
Disabling comments
Demonetisation
Suspension of paid content features
Suspension of uploads or livestreaming
Withholding or reversing earnings
Warning notices
Account suspension
Permanent account termination
Blocking new accounts
Reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate or required

18. Changes to This Creator Code of Conduct

Changes may reflect new features, safety risks, monetisation rules, creator tools, legal requirements, moderation practices, or community needs.

Your continued use of Playflick after changes become effective means you agree to follow the updated Code.
