Creator Monetisation Terms

Last Updated: 2026

These Creator Monetisation Terms explain the rules for earning money, receiving payouts, monetising videos, selling paid content, enabling channel subscriptions, receiving advertising revenue, and using creator earning features on Playflick.com, operated by Playflick™ Media .ltd.

Creator monetisation is a privilege, not a guaranteed right. Playflick may approve, reject, suspend, limit, remove, or change monetisation access at any time where necessary to protect users, creators, advertisers, payment providers, rights holders, and the platform.

These terms should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, Copyright & Takedown Policy, Refund Policy, Paid Content Terms, Advertising Policy, and any additional monetisation rules shown inside your account.

2. What Is Creator Monetisation?

Creator monetisation means any feature that allows creators to earn money or receive value through Playflick.

Monetisation features may include:

  • Advertising revenue share
  • Paid videos
  • Video rentals
  • Paid movies
  • Channel subscriptions
  • Creator memberships
  • Donations or tips where available
  • Premium creator content
  • Affiliate or referral features
  • Creator rewards
  • Other earning tools offered by Playflick

Not all monetisation features may be available to all users, countries, account types, or content categories.

3. No Automatic Right to Monetisation

Creating an account or uploading content does not automatically give you the right to monetise.

Playflick may require creators to meet eligibility rules before monetisation is enabled.

Eligibility may depend on:

  • Account age
  • Account standing
  • Content quality
  • Originality of content
  • Copyright compliance
  • Community Guidelines compliance
  • Viewer activity
  • Subscriber count
  • Watch time
  • Identity verification
  • Tax or payout information
  • Country or payment-provider availability
  • Fraud and risk checks

Playflick may change eligibility rules at any time.

4. Creator Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use creator monetisation features, receive payouts, sell paid content, run paid subscriptions, or access creator earnings.

If you are under 18, you may not use monetisation features unless Playflick expressly allows a parent, legal guardian, or authorised representative to manage the monetisation account in a lawful and approved way.

5. Creator Verification

Before monetisation or payouts are enabled, Playflick may require verification.

Verification may include:

  • Legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Business name
  • Business address
  • Country of residence
  • Email verification
  • Phone verification
  • Identity documents
  • Tax information
  • Payment account details
  • Bank or payout provider information
  • Additional fraud-prevention checks

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Playflick may suspend monetisation or payouts if verification is incomplete, inaccurate, expired, suspicious, or rejected.

6. Your Content Must Be Eligible

Monetised content must comply with all Playflick policies.

To monetise content, you must own or control all necessary rights in the content, including rights for:

  • Video footage
  • Music
  • Sound recordings
  • Background music
  • Images
  • Artwork
  • Logos
  • Fonts
  • Performances
  • Voiceovers
  • Clips
  • Trailers
  • Scripts
  • Third-party material

You must be able to provide proof of rights if Playflick asks for it.

7. Content That Cannot Be Monetised

Playflick may refuse, disable, restrict, or remove monetisation from content that includes or promotes:

  • Copyright infringement or piracy
  • Child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Non-consensual intimate content
  • Terrorism or violent extremism
  • Hate speech or hateful conduct
  • Threats, harassment, or bullying
  • Graphic violence intended to shock or glorify harm
  • Self-harm or suicide encouragement
  • Dangerous challenges
  • Scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive schemes
  • Malware, hacking, or credential theft
  • Illegal goods, services, or activity
  • Misleading medical, financial, or legal claims
  • Fake engagement or artificial traffic
  • Spam or repetitive low-quality content
  • Misleading thumbnails, titles, descriptions, or tags
  • Content that exploits vulnerable people
  • Content that creates legal, safety, advertiser, payment, or reputational risk

Playflick may also restrict monetisation for mature, controversial, sensitive, low-quality, reused, misleading, or advertiser-unfriendly content.

8. Copyright and Rights Holder Claims

If monetised content receives a copyright claim, trademark complaint, privacy complaint, rights-holder complaint, or legal notice, Playflick may:

  • Remove or restrict the content
  • Disable monetisation
  • Withhold earnings
  • Reverse earnings
  • Issue refunds or platform credits
  • Restrict paid access
  • Apply repeat infringer rules
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Request proof of rights
  • Share relevant information with rights holders or authorities where appropriate

Creators are responsible for all claims, losses, refunds, chargebacks, legal costs, and disputes caused by their content.

9. Fake Engagement and Invalid Activity

You must not artificially inflate or manipulate monetisation metrics.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • Buying fake views
  • Buying fake likes
  • Buying fake subscribers
  • Using bots or scripts
  • Using click farms
  • Repeatedly watching your own videos to generate earnings
  • Encouraging users to click ads artificially
  • Generating fake ad impressions
  • Using misleading thumbnails or titles to deceive viewers
  • Creating multiple accounts to generate earnings
  • Manipulating paid purchases, rentals, or subscriptions
  • Engaging in creator self-purchase schemes

Playflick may remove fake engagement, withhold earnings, reverse balances, suspend monetisation, terminate accounts, or report abuse to payment providers or relevant authorities.

10. Revenue Share and Earnings

Playflick may share revenue with eligible creators according to rates, formulas, commission percentages, or payout rules displayed in the platform or communicated by Playflick.

Revenue share may vary depending on:

  • Content type
  • Country or region
  • Payment method
  • Advertiser demand
  • Subscription type
  • Creator plan
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Taxes
  • Platform fees
  • Payment-provider fees
  • Invalid activity
  • Policy compliance

Estimated earnings shown in your account may not be final. Final payable earnings may be adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, invalid activity, copyright claims, taxes, fees, or other corrections.

11. Payouts

Playflick may allow eligible creators to withdraw earnings when they meet payout requirements.

Payouts may require:

  • A minimum payout balance
  • Verified identity
  • Valid payout details
  • Tax information
  • Account in good standing
  • No unresolved disputes, chargebacks, fraud checks, or policy violations
  • Compliance with payment-provider requirements

Playflick may delay or reject payouts where verification is incomplete, information is incorrect, risk checks are pending, fraud is suspected, legal requirements apply, or payment providers restrict the transaction.

12. Minimum Payout Threshold

Playflick may set a minimum payout threshold. Earnings below the minimum threshold may remain in your account until the threshold is reached.

The minimum payout threshold may change from time to time. Any applicable threshold may be shown in your account, admin settings, creator dashboard, or payment settings.

13. Taxes

Creators are responsible for their own taxes, reporting, filings, invoices, VAT, income tax, corporate tax, withholding tax, and any other tax obligations arising from creator earnings.

Playflick does not provide tax advice.

We may request tax information, withhold payments, issue records, or deduct tax where required by law or payment provider rules.

14. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Reversals

Creator earnings may be reduced, withheld, reversed, or cancelled where transactions are refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, unauthorised, or connected to policy violations.

This may include:

  • Paid video refunds
  • Rental refunds
  • Subscription refunds
  • Wallet reversals
  • Advertising refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Fraudulent purchases
  • Payment-provider reversals
  • Copyright-related removals
  • Invalid activity adjustments

If earnings have already been paid out, Playflick may deduct reversed amounts from future earnings or request repayment where permitted.

15. Creator Responsibility to Buyers and Subscribers

If you sell paid content, subscriptions, memberships, or premium access, you must be honest and clear with viewers.

You must not:

  • Mislead users about what they are buying
  • Use false claims to sell content
  • Change paid content in a deceptive way after purchase
  • Promise benefits you do not provide
  • Use fake scarcity, fake urgency, or fake endorsements
  • Sell content you do not own or have permission to monetise
  • Exploit children, vulnerable users, or fans
  • Use paid content to deliver scams, malware, or unlawful material

Playflick may issue refunds, restrict content, suspend monetisation, or take account action where buyers or subscribers are misled or harmed.

16. Advertising Revenue

If Playflick shares advertising revenue with creators, earnings may depend on advertiser demand, valid ad views, ad clicks, location, content category, advertiser settings, platform fees, invalid traffic rules, and policy compliance.

Playflick does not guarantee:

  • That ads will appear on your videos
  • That every view will generate revenue
  • That every click will be payable
  • That earnings will remain unchanged
  • That monetisation will continue forever

Ad earnings may be adjusted or cancelled because of invalid traffic, advertiser disputes, chargebacks, fraud, policy violations, or payment-provider issues.

17. Channel Subscriptions and Memberships

If you offer channel subscriptions or memberships, you are responsible for providing the benefits you advertise.

You must clearly describe:

  • What subscribers receive
  • The subscription price
  • Whether access renews automatically
  • Any limitations or conditions
  • Any content or benefits that may change over time

Playflick may cancel subscriptions, issue refunds, restrict benefits, or suspend creator membership features where subscriptions are misleading, abusive, unlawful, or policy-breaking.

18. Donations and Tips

If donations, tips, or support payments are available, creators must use them honestly.

You must not:

  • Use fake charity claims
  • Mislead users about how funds will be used
  • Pressure or manipulate vulnerable users into paying
  • Offer prohibited content or services in exchange for tips
  • Use donations to fund illegal or harmful activity

Playflick may reverse, withhold, or restrict donation-related payments where abuse is suspected.

19. Account Suspension and Monetisation Loss

If your account is suspended, restricted, or terminated, you may lose access to monetisation features and unpaid earnings.

Playflick may withhold, cancel, reverse, or refuse payment of unpaid earnings if your account is connected to:

  • Fraud
  • Invalid activity
  • Copyright infringement
  • Illegal content
  • Child-safety violations
  • Payment abuse
  • Fake engagement
  • Serious or repeated policy violations
  • Failure to complete verification

20. No Employment or Partnership

Using creator monetisation does not make you an employee, worker, contractor, partner, agent, franchisee, or legal representative of Playflick.

You are responsible for your own content, business, taxes, legal obligations, and audience relationships.

21. Changes to Monetisation Features

Playflick may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue monetisation features at any time.

We may change:

  • Eligibility rules
  • Revenue share rates
  • Commission rates
  • Payout thresholds
  • Payout methods
  • Payment timing
  • Creator tools
  • Paid content rules
  • Advertising rules
  • Verification requirements
  • Allowed content categories

Where required or appropriate, we may provide notice of significant changes.

22. Appeals

If your monetisation access, earnings, payout, or content monetisation is restricted, you may contact us to request a review.

Send appeals to:

Email: hello@playflick.com

Please include:

  • Your account email
  • Your username or channel name
  • The affected content URL, if relevant
  • The monetisation decision you are appealing
  • Why you believe the decision was incorrect
  • Any supporting evidence, rights documents, invoices, licences, or explanation

Playflick may accept, reject, or partially uphold appeals depending on the circumstances.

23. No Guarantee of Income

Playflick does not guarantee that you will earn any amount of money through creator monetisation.

Earnings may be affected by content quality, audience interest, advertiser demand, platform rules, payment-provider restrictions, viewer location, refunds, chargebacks, invalid traffic, copyright claims, and other factors.

You should not rely on Playflick monetisation as guaranteed income.

24. Changes to These Creator Monetisation Terms

We may update these Creator Monetisation Terms from time to time.

Changes may reflect new monetisation features, legal requirements, tax obligations, payment-provider rules, advertising standards, creator tools, or platform changes.

Your continued use of creator monetisation features after changes become effective means you agree to the updated terms.
